I am a qualified counsellor and a Registered, Accredited Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. As a member of the BACP, I practice in accordance with their ethical framework for good, sound practice... My counselling approach is based on the humanistic model of counselling with my main focus coming from person-centred philosophy which means I recognise each client as a unique individual capable of personal choice and growth. I offer my clients a safe, non-judgemental and confidential environment in which to explore and reflect on their issues and concerns. With this therapeutic approach, a working relationship evolves which is based on respect and trust for the client and offers both a gentle and sometimes challenging way to work, but above all it is about you, the client and your concerns... Explore difficult feelings whilst really being listened to, in an environment that is free from intrusion and is confidential.
