Aaron Cox is a Communications Manager with 25 years' industry experience.
Prior to joining Majedie in 2020, Aaron was Investment Communication Manager at Jupiter and held a similar role at First State Investments. He started his career as an interest rate options broker on the Sydney Futures Exchange.
In addition to a BA (Hons) English (University of New South Wales) and MA in Creative Writing (Birkbeck), Aaron has a PGCert in Environmental Economics from SOAS and is IMC qualified.

Adrian Brass is a Fund Manager and Analyst with 27 years' investment experience in international equity markets. Adrian is responsible for lead managing the US Equity Fund and co-managing the Global Equity and Global Focus funds.
Before joining Majedie in 2014, Adrian was a Fund Manager at Fidelity, where he managed US equity funds including the America Fund for six years, growing total assets to over $8bn. Previously he managed a global consumer sector fund from 2006. Prior to that he managed various global equity funds at Investec Asset Management, a firm he joined in 2000 from Schroders, where he was a UK and then Pan-European Analyst.
Adrian joined Schroders in 1995. He holds a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Economics & Politics from the University of Bristol and is a CFA charter holder.
Amy Lloyd is a Client Service Assistant with four years' industry experience, having joined Majedie in 2018.

Chris Field is an Executive Director of Majedie Asset Management. He is a Fund Manager and Analyst with 35 years' investment experience in UK and international equity markets. Chris is the lead manager on the UK Income Fund, co-manager of the UK Equity and UK Focus Funds, and is the deputy manager for the Edinburgh Investment Trust.
Before co-founding Majedie in 2002, Chris had been a Director at Mercury Asset Management (subsequently acquired by Merrill Lynch, now BlackRock).
Chris joined Rowan Investment Managers (a predecessor firm to Mercury Asset Management) in 1980. He holds the ASIP qualification and is an Associate Member of the CFA Society of the UK.

Chris Simmons (ACA) is the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Majedie Asset Management Limited. He has 23 years' experience in the finance industry and UK equity markets.
Prior to joining Majedie Asset Management in 2011, Chris worked for seven years as a Fund Manager at Majedie Investments PLC where he managed the investment of UK and global equity mandates. He also served as a Non-Executive Director at Majedie Asset Management. Between 1999 and 2004 he was a Manager at Deloitte LLP, specialising in the audit and advisory of asset management companies.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial Economics from the University of Nottingham and is a member of the ICAEW.

Cindy Rose is Head of Responsible Capitalism at Majedie Asset Management and has 23 years' industry experience.
Before joining Majedie in August 2019, Cindy was Head of ESG, Clients and Products at Aberdeen Standard Investments and before that she co-headed Stewardship at Aberdeen Asset Management. At ASI and predecessor companies, Cindy has been responsible for a wide range of ESG and active ownership responsibilities, including client and company engagement, designing ESG integration platforms and SRI product development. Previously, she also worked as a trial clerk at the US Tax Court in Washington, D.C.
Cindy holds an MSc in Comparative Literature from the University of Edinburgh and is IMC qualified.

James de Uphaugh is Chairman and Chief Investment Officer of Majedie Asset Management. He is a Fund Manager and Analyst with 34 years' investment experience in UK and international equity markets. James is responsible for co-managing the UK Equity Fund and managing the Edinburgh Investment Trust.
Before co-founding Majedie in 2002, James had been a Managing Director at Mercury Asset Management (subsequently acquired by Merrill Lynch, now BlackRock), where he was also Chairman of the UK Investment Group and Alpha Team Leader. While at Mercury, he was responsible for managing institutional portfolios with combined UK equity assets of £1.4bn.
James joined Mercury Asset Management in 1988. He holds a Master of Arts degree in Economics from Jesus College, Cambridge. He holds the ASIP qualification and is an Associate Member of the CFA Society of the UK.

Before joining Majedie in 2003, James worked in client services at Mercury Asset Management (subsequently acquired by Merrill Lynch, now BlackRock), where he managed the Alpha Client Services team, responsible for the reporting on institutional clients with combined assets of £2bn.
James joined Mercury Asset Management in 1998. Prior to that he spent two years working in Supervision & Surveillance at the Bank of England.
James is a Client Director with 27 years' of industry experience.
Before joining Majedie in 2016, James worked at Baillie Gifford for 14 years where he was a Client Director responsible for a broad range of institutional global equity clients. He also chaired the product group for the firm's largest global equity strategy, leading its client relationship team from strategy launch in 2005. Prior to that, he spent seven years at Cazenove as an Analyst and UK Equity Fund Manager.
He holds a Master of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Edinburgh. He is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
Jannine Weston is an Office Administrator with five years' industry experience, having joined Majedie in 2017.

Jo holds a degree in English Literature and Dance from Roehampton University, a postgraduate diploma in Management from London Metropolitan and both IOC and IMC qualifications.
John King is a Fund Manager and Analyst with 12 years' investment experience. John is responsible for lead managing the UK Smaller Companies Fund and the smaller companies sub-portfolio of the UK Equity Fund.
Before joining Majedie in 2019 John was a Portfolio Manager at AXA, where he was Deputy Manager of the AXA UK Select Opportunities Fund and the five FE Crown rated AXA WF Framlington UK Fund, also successfully managing long-only institutional UK equity mandates on behalf of a UK university endowment. Prior to joining AXA in 2016, John worked on the sell side for Jefferies, UBS and N+1 Singer, where he specialised in mid and small cap analysis.
John graduated in 2005 with a BA (Hons) in Economics and Management from the University of Leeds, before joining Ernst & Young where he qualified as an accountant and was a senior advisory consultant in the Internal Audit function, applying key accounting principles and assessing financial risk.

Rob Harris is Chief Executive of Majedie Asset Management. He has 29 years' experience in the asset management industry, in both investment and business roles. He co-managed both the UK Equity and UK Focus funds between 2003 and 2010, before becoming Managing Director in 2011 and then CEO in 2012.
Before co-founding Majedie in 2002, Rob had been a Director at Mercury Asset Management (subsequently acquired by Merrill Lynch, now BlackRock). While at Mercury, he was responsible for managing institutional portfolios with combined UK equity assets of £1.2bn.
Rob joined Mercury Asset Management in 1993. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Classics from the University of Durham. He holds the ASIP qualification and is an Associate Member of the CFA Society of the UK.
