Yes, that Alexander…), this blog is about teaching and learning best practices of the past 2400 years. With a target audience that originally consisted of primarily young, in-service teachers, its mission is now to serve as a resource mainly for parents who find the current pandemic-governed schooling environment a bit daunting... The first season (roughly mid-2020 till early 2021) is dedicated to the identification and mitigation of logical fallacies and other tools of informal logic, understanding the learning preferences of both teachers and students, and bits and pieces of other stuff that crosses John Devos' mind. Sprinkled in are interviews with homeschooling parents, current and retired teachers, and educational experts, all of whom can shed light on what a parent can do during a virus outbreak to make sure his or her children..
