Andi McNeal, CFE, CPA, is the Chief Training Officer for the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), where she oversees the ACFE's educational and training content, benchmarking research reports and industry insights, professional publications, and certification-related offerings.
She is co-author of the ACFE's Occupational Fraud: A Report to the Nations, a biennial report on the costs and effects of occupational fraud, as well as several other anti-fraud benchmarking reports. She is also a frequent speaker on anti-fraud and leadership topics, and she has authored numerous articles for publications such as the Journal of Accountancy, CPA Journal, Internal Auditor, and Fraud Magazine. In addition, she is an advisory member of the ACFE Board of Regents and a Research Committee member for the ACFE Research Institute, a multidisciplinary academic research center dedicated to supporting anti-fraud research.
Prior to joining the staff of the ACFE, she worked as a Certified Public Accountant at a regional accounting firm in Jacksonville, Florida, where she performed audit, tax, and consulting services for small business clients. She holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Flagler College and a Master of Accountancy degree from the University of North Florida, and she is a past recipient of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants' Excellence Award.

Carrie Kelly, J.D., CFE, SPHR, is the Chief Operating Officer of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). Carrie joined the ACFE in 2008 as an Associate General Counsel. In November 2014, she became Director of Human Resources, leading all staffing and training and development initiatives for the organization. She served as Vice President of Operations from 2022 until April 2024
Carrie graduated from the University of Illinois with a bachelor's degree in English. She earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law Houston and was a member of the South Texas Law Review.

Joseph T. Wells is founder and Chairman of the Board of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), the world's largest anti-fraud organization.
After graduating with honors from the University of Oklahoma, Dr. Wells spent two years on the audit staff of Coopers and Lybrand (now PriceWaterhouseCoopers).
He then was appointed a Special Agent of the FBI. Over the next ten years, Dr. Wells investigated thousands of fraud cases, ranging from nickel-and-dime con artists to former U.S. Attorney General John Mitchell for his role in the Watergate case. In 1982, he left the government to form Wells & Associates, a firm of criminologists specializing in fraud detection and deterrence.
Since founding the ACFE in 1988, Dr. Wells has lectured to tens of thousands of business professionals, written 23 books and authored scores of articles and research projects. His writing has won numerous awards, including the top articles of the year for both Internal Auditor Magazine and the Journal of Accountancy.
In addition to his duties as ACFE chairman, Dr. Wells served as a professor of fraud examination in the Graduate Business School at the University of Texas at Austin where his pioneering work was recognized by the American Accounting Association, which named him Accounting Education Innovator of the Year.
Dr. Wells has served on various senior committees of the American Institute of CPAs and is a member of the AICPA's Business and Industry Hall of Fame. He was named to Accounting Today magazine's annual list of the "Top 100 Most Influential People" in accounting nine times. He was honored in 2010 as a Doctor of Commercial Science by York College of the City University of New York.

James D. Ratley graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas, with a bachelor's degree in business administration. In 1971, he joined the Dallas Police Department as a police officer.
Ratley was assigned to several police department divisions, including vice, child abuse and internal affairs. He was a member of numerous department task forces which concentrated on major fraud cases.
In 1986, Ratley left the police department to join Wells & Associates, a forensic accounting practice, where he was in charge of fraud investigations. He handled investigations regarding internal frauds, conflicts of interest and litigation support. In 1988, he was named Program Director for the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) and oversaw all aspects of the ACFE's training and education programs.
In 2005, Ratley was awarded the ACFE's Cressey Award, the organization's highest honor. It is bestowed annually for a lifetime of achievement in the detection and deterrence of fraud.
In 2006, Ratley was named President of the ACFE, and in 2011, he was also named CEO. Ratley worked to promote the ACFE to the public and other professional organizations, and assisted in the development of anti-fraud products and services to meet the needs of the ACFE's members. In addition to his executive duties, Ratley served as a member of the ACFE's faculty, and taught regularly at workshops and conferences on a variety of fraud-related subjects.
Ratley was named one of the "Top 100 Most Influential People in Accounting" by Accounting Today in 2012, 2013 and 2014 with the magazine praising his leadership in a "changing, growing and evolving" accounting landscape. He was also recognized by Internal Auditor as a 2014 Outstanding Contributor for his article, "Become a Better Interviewer," published in the magazine's June 2013 issue, and he was selected as one of Security magazine's Most Influential Security Executives for 2010.
Ratley served as adjunct professor at the University of Texas, where he taught a masters-level fraud examination course in the McCombs School of Business (Accounting Department). He was also a Visiting Scholar at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln.
Ratley has been certified as a Master Peace Officer by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Standards and Education.
In March of 2018, Ratley officially retired on his 30th anniversary with the ACFE.

Jeannie Kwong, CFE, CPA, is the Chief Financial Officer of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). She joined the ACFE in August 2012 and is responsible for oversight of all corporate accounting functions, budgets, and financial reporting. Jeannie has over 20 years of blended professional experience in auditing, corporate accounting and finance, and foreign and domestic sale taxes compliance. Jeannie joined the ACFE Foundation Board of Directors in 2019 and currently serves as Treasurer.
Prior to joining the ACFE, Jeannie was an audit manager at Coulter and Justus, PC where she managed audit engagements with clients in various of industries, including but not limited to transportation, retail and distribution, local utility systems and non-profit organizations.
Jeannie is originally from Hong Kong and holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Business Administration from Wichita State University. She is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Texas. She is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Austin Chapter of the Texas Society of CPAs.

John Gill is the President of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). He also serves as an advisory member to the ACFE Board of Regents.
Gill began his career at the ACFE in 1995 as its first general counsel. He then created, and was the first director of, the ACFE's research and publications department. He most recently served as Chief Training Officer where he oversaw all of the ACFE's training activities.
In 2006, he developed the CFE Exam Review Course, which he has taught on six continents. He has also conducted training for Fortune 50 companies; federal, state, and local government agencies; and professional organizations across the globe.
Prior to joining the ACFE, Gill was an attorney in the Austin, Texas, office of the Bragg, Smithers and Curry law firm, where he was involved with civil fraud, insurance and deceptive trade practices cases.
Gill is a co-author of the Fraud Examiners Manual. He is the former publisher of Fraud Magazine and remains a regular contributor to the magazine.
Gill graduated from the University of Arkansas with a bachelor's degree in English. He earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence with honors from the University of Texas School of Law.

John Warren is the Chief Executive Officer of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). He is also an advisory member of the ACFE Board of Regents and sits on the Board of Directors of the ACFE Foundation.
Warren is responsible for setting the strategic vision of the association and for implementing enterprise-level strategic initiatives with the goal of growing global membership, improving member satisfaction and raising the profile of the ACFE.
Prior to becoming Chief Executive Officer, Warren most recently served as Chief Strategy Officer for the organization. He first joined the ACFE as a member of its legal department in 1996 and in 2004 he was appointed General Counsel, where he was responsible for providing guidance, oversight, and direction to management and staff on all legal issues affecting the ACFE. He served in this position until 2022.
He is also a co-author of the Report to the Nations, the ACFE's biennial study on the costs and effects of occupational fraud. He also serves in an advisory capacity as a representative to the ACFE Research Institute, a multidisciplinary academic research center dedicated to supporting anti-fraud research.
