AMELIA JAYNE PEET

Amelia is a freelance pattern cutter who is based in the North West of England. Amelia has recently completed her studies of a BA (Hons) Fashion degree at Staffordshire University in which she specialised in pattern cutting and construction. During her learning Amelia was able to gain an in-depth understanding of pattern cutting, particularly the technical side of pattern drafting and grading. Additionally, Amelia participated in a collaboration with a peer to realise their final design collection. Whilst undertaking her studies Amelia focused herself on the technical side of fashion in both pattern cutting as well as computer aided design work to ensure she created accurate and thorough tech packs, spec sheets and layplans of the garments she had created. Throughout her studies Amelia has been able to gain a strong set of technical skills including, but not limited to, Gerber, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Excel and Transformational Reconstruction.
