As a trial lawyer, Grant represents plaintiffs in personal injury, wrongful death and worker's compensation matters. His cases have included automobile accidents, medical malpractice, nursing home malpractice, slip-and-fall cases, product liability, chemical exposures, airplane crashes, worker's compensation and hundreds of others. Grant has represented victims in many high-profile cases and has been featured in nearly every newspaper in the country for his work. He is a frequent guest on television and radio shows seeking his valuable insight on legal topics. Before starting Dixon Law Office, Grant was a trial attorney at Corboy & Demetrio in Chicago for nearly 10 years. He is a former judicial clerk to The Honorable Charles R. Norgle, Sr., of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Grant is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, many Federal courts, Illinois and appeared in courts in several other States including Indiana, Michigan, and several others. He and his firm have handled cases from New York to California. His hard work for his clients has gotten Grant significant recognition. Kathryn Bell

Kate joined the Dixon Law Office team in 2015. Over those years she has held many roles in the firm. Presently, Kate is the primary legal assistant responsible for all "in-suit" cases; cases in which a law suit has been filed. This is a specialized job that requires extensive practical knowledge of the legal system. Kate excels at case management, helping to move cases from filing to payout. In the high-stress world of personal injury litigation, Kate's "take charge" attitude and confidence helps the team effectively and efficiently represent clients. Kate is a graduate of Queen of Peace high school. Clients often comment on how Kate's skills and abilities help them through their difficulties in the legal system.

Nayrin Banuelos

Nayrin joined the Dixon Law Office team in 2021. She is presently a student at Elmhurst University. Nayrin handles two different areas at the firm. She is primarily responsible for the worker's compensation cases. A legal assistant's work handling the worker's compensation case load is a never-ending job. It demands in depth knowledge of worker's compensation cases but, equally important, knowledge of the Illinois Worker's Compensation Commission. The IWCC is both modern and archaic and so getting work done can be difficult. Additionally, Nayrin is responsible for managing all cases before a law suit is filed. From case sign up to settlement (unless a law suit is filed), Nayrin works every day with clients in a wide variety of situations. Nayrin graduated with an Associates of Arts (AA) degree in both English and Spanish from Moorpark College in 2021.

Patrizia Vicari

Pat is a book keeper at Dixon Law Office. She joined the Dixon Law Office team in 2019. Her role involves billing, accounts payable, and invoicing. Pat also helps manage the case payout process, working on liens, claims and insurance reimbursements. Pat also oversees document management in the office. While Pat is not often interacting with clients, her role is absolutely vital to the representation of all our clients. Pat graduated from Illinois State University. She is also a licensed real estate broker. Pat is bilingual in Italian and English.

Susan Dixon

  • Office Manager
Susan presently serves as Office Manager at Dixon Law Office. That title encompasses everything from personnel to payroll, finances and taxes, client management and career advisor. She officially joined Dixon Law Office in 2003, but has served in an advisory capacity since the first day of the firm. Prior to formally joining the Dixon Law Office team, Susan was a Partner in the Human Resources division of PriceWaterhouseCoopers. She consulted with Fortune 500 companies advising them on various human resource needs. Susan is also very active in the community. She serves on the Board of Adventist Midwest Health and the Hinsdale Garden Club, and is involved in various charities.

Valeria Rios
