Born and raised in the Lone Star State, Audrey and her family moved to Round Rock over 18 years ago from the Texas Panhandle. She has over 22 years of experience in the medical field with over 11 of those years being at Tejas.

Brenden Masden is a Board Certified Physician Assistant working at Tejas Ear, Nose and Throat. He has experience in a variety of fields including, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Urgent Care. He received his Bachelor's degree at the University of Texas at Austin (Hook'em always) and then received his Master's in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Texas Health Science Center - San Antonio. As quickly as he could, he came back to the great city he calls home, Austin. He joins Tejas to serve the Austin area community and to care for people, through the medical knowledge he has acquired, just as he has experienced care in his own life.
Brenden enjoys serving his local church, spending quality time with his friends and family, playing and watching sports, and outdoor adventures such as hiking and camping.

JoAnn, along with Dr. Tamez, created Tejas Ear, Nose and Throat in 2002. She is a strong advocate of premiere patient care and customer service. She has over 25 years combined experience in customer service, marketing and management.
Kelly is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with experience in Sleep Medicine, Neurology, and Urgent Care. She has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from New York University. Kelly received her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas in Austin (Hook ‘Em!). She is an active member of Austin Area Nurse Practitioners and Texas Nurse Practitioners. She has been published in the academic journals Sleep Science and Nursing Research. Kelly is most passionate about preventive medicine and helping patients live their best lives by emphasizing the importance of breathing, sleep, nutrition, and exercise.
Kelly lives in Austin with her husband, their two children, and dog. She enjoys running, cooking, being outside, and spending time with her family.

Dr. Tamez is a highly respected Otolaryngologist/Head and Neck Surgeon for both pediatric and adult patients. Dr. Tamez has been successfully treating thousands of families since he established his private practice in 1998. Dr. Tamez continues to be recognized as a Top Doctor here in Austin by the Austin Monthly Magazine, having been awarded the accolade in 2015, 2016, 2018, and 2019.

Sarabeth Coatney is a Board Certified Physician Assistant from Tulsa, Oklahoma. She received her Bachelor of Health and Exercise Science from the University of Oklahoma and her Masters in Physician Assistant studies at OU-TU School of Community Medicine in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Prior to PA school, Sarabeth completed a research fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital where she worked on health care advocacy around billing practices, the new science around lifestyle based prevention of illness, and supported larger policy research on price and quality transparency in health care. Sarabeth is passionate about preventative medicine and comprehensive care - making Team Tejas the perfect fit for her PA career.
Sarabeth is new to the Austin area and excited to build community here and enjoy all the amazing outdoor activities this city has to offer. In her free time, she enjoys playing golf, pickleball, hiking and spending time with her friends and family.
Originally from Lubbock, Texas, Tabby has lived in the Austin area with her fiancé and their two young sons since 2016. Tabby comes to Tejas Ear, Nose and Throat with over eleven years of experience in the medical field.

Dr. Tamez established Tejas Ear, Nose and Throat in Round Rock in 2002. Dr. Tamez finished his training at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio in 1998. Prior to establishing Tejas Ear, Nose and Throat, he was an associate clinical faculty at the University of Texas Health Science Center Houston and The University of California San Francisco Fresno along with being an associate of the largest single specialty ear, nose and throat clinic in Central California. His adult and pediatric experience in diseases that affect the head and neck region and how they relate to a persons' overall health is extensive. His surgical experience is vast and he is focused on great outcomes, not just performing a procedure. In the end it is all about improving a patients and family's quality of life and health.
He grew up in Houston and graduated from Texas A&M University College Station ( his wife JoAnn is a Longhorn). He was blessed to have studied medicine at The University of Texas Medical Branch Galveston and subsequently did his training in the Department of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at The University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio, where he received exceptional training and mentorship. These great building blocks were just the beginning. Over the past 25 years he has worked tirelessly to perfect his clinical and surgical skills improving patients quality of life and health every step of the way.
