Brooklyn Bio was born out of a team that won top prizes over several years at the iGEM competition. Together we are a group of scientists and engineers with expertise in wetware, hardware, software, and data. We are passionate about molecular biology and its scientific applications. Biotech is entering new horizons and we are excited to work towards responsibly shaping its future... We are self-funded in order to maintain our independence and choose our research focus. We want to work with people doing great science in all fields. We are here to help you with your research design and execution... Our diverse team has expertise in bacterial, fungal, and plant genetics, as well as data visualization and machine learning. Our lab is fully equipped to do both biological R&D and hardware prototyping.
