Angela Smith Jones

Angela Smith Jones serves as Vice President of Diversity and Inclusion for Health and Hospital Corp. Prior to assuming this role, she served as Deputy Mayor for Economic Development for the City of Indianapolis. Smith Jones has also served as General Counsel and Director of Policy and Legislative Affairs with the Indy Chamber. Angela Smith Jones, a native of Indianapolis, is a graduate of DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, Illinois where she earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence. Prior to law school, Smith Jones completed her undergraduate studies at Miami University, in Oxford, Ohio, with a degree in Broadcast/Journalism. Angela's son Crayton graduated from Cathedral in 2022. Angela also serves on the boards of Employ Indy, 16 Tech Community Corporation and Innovation District, and the Indiana Latino Expo.

Anna Taul

Anna came to us with former experience in college admissions at the University of Kentucky and the University of Notre Dame. Most recently, she was the Director of Admissions and Marketing for the Indianapolis Notre Dame ACE Academy Schools. Anna was hired in 2019, and she and her husband have two children.

Bro. Roy Smith

In addition to the Cathedral Board, Brother Roy serves on the Black Catholic Advisory Board of Ft. Wayne-South Bend Diocese. He was also named the Center for Leadership Development's Man of the Year receiving the 2016 Accomplished Achievement Award. Brother Roy is also a recipient of Cathedral's highest honor, the Bishop Chartrand Award.

Colleen O'Brien-Teasley

Prior to joining Cathedral, Colleen was Executive Director of Finance and CFO at Indiana State University Foundation. She also has experience as a senior accountant at Financial Technologies and Management. Colleen believes wholeheartedly in the mission of Cathedral. Her daughter Audrey is a 2018 graduate and her twin boys, William and Hays, graduated in 2021.

Denise Farrell

Denise Farrell was a Cathedral staff member in a variety of roles for 29 years before her retirement in 2008. She was named an honorary graduate in 2008. Denise was inducted into the Indiana High School Volleyball Hall of Fame in 1997, was 1988 Marion County Coaches of Girls Sports Association City Coach of the Year, 1989 Indiana Coaches of Girls Sports Association District 3 Coach of the Year, and 1989 Indianapolis Star Metro Volleyball Coach of the Year. Denise and her husband, Bill, have two children who both graduated from Cathedral and are members of Holy Spirit at Geist Catholic Church.

Dr. Catherine Bradshaw

Cathy (Bradshaw) Michael grew up in the Immaculate Heart of Mary parish and graduated from Cathedral in 1987. She has been a partner with St. Vincent Emergency Physicians, Inc, for 19 years and currently works part-time as an emergency physician at the various St. Vincent hospitals in central Indiana. She serves as president of Friends of Patan Hospital, a 401(c)3 charity that supports health care in Nepal. Cathy and her husband Jon-Adam have four children at Cathedral and The Oaks Academy: Isaac ‘21; Andrew ‘23; Daniel '26, and Alice, 6th grade. Cathy comes from a large Cathedral family - her father was a 1948 graduate and long-time board member, her four siblings are graduates, and numerous nieces and nephews are currently attending Cathedral.

Grace Trahan-Rodecap - CMO

Grace has more than 25 years of experience in communications. She started her broadcasting career in Beaumont, Texas where she won the Texas School Bell Award for Outstanding Coverage of Educational Issues. She was an anchor/reporter at WRTV for 18 years and Marketing/Public Relations Coordinator at The Orchard School for four years. Grace earned a certificate from the Indiana University School of Philanthropy and was awarded the District Communicator of the Year Award from the National Forensic League. Grace and her husband have three children (Christian, Nicholas '22, Rachel '24) and live in the Trader's Point area. Cathedral embodies Catholic values to help students achieve their personal best through a diverse and supportive social environment, a robust curriculum of academics, athletics and arts, and opportunities for spiritual and emotional development in and out of the classroom - all with the purpose of establishing a foundation for life-long success.

Gregg Gallant

Prior to founding Allegient, named one of the "Inc." 5000's fastest growing companies for the fifth year in a row as well as one of Indiana's Best Places to Work for six years, Gregg served as director of operations at NISYS, group director at Software Synergy, and director of strategic initiatives, building commissioner and Mayor's Fellow during the Steve Goldsmith administration for the City of Indianapolis. Gregg and his wife, Lori, are parents of three Cathedral graduates.

J. Michael Cunningham

Michael is the CEO and founder of Maetrics, a life sciences consulting firm. He has more than 30 years of entrepreneurial experience leading innovative consulting companies. Prior to founding Maetrics, he founded Theoris and served as its Chief Executive Officer and President. Michael has always been a strong supporter of Cathedral, most notably helping make possible the transformation of the carriage house on Cathedral's property into the Cunningham Fine Arts Center in 1998. He is a 1998 Bishop Chartrand Award recipient. His daughter graduated from Cathedral in 1998.

Jack Lashenik

Jack Lashenik is an executive vice president and partner of American Structurepoint, a leading engineering consulting and architectural firm with 16 locations in seven states. Jack leads American Structurepoint's Architecture + Interiors, Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, and Planning + Economic Development groups. He is an active Purdue University alum, serving since 2009 as a Purdue Agricultural and Biological Engineering Academic Advisory Board member and as secretary of the Purdue Engineering Alumni Association since 2014. Jack is a graduate of the Stanley K. Lacy Leadership program. Jack and his wife, Courtney McGlynn '93 Lashenik, have three children: Will '22, Joe '24 and Ben (St. Matthew - 7th Grade). The Lashenik's are parishioners at St. Matthew Catholic Church where Jack serves as the parish council president.

Jason is the President of Perceivant, Inc., an educational technology company serving higher education with digital courseware solutions. He co-founded ClearScholar in 2016 with Indianapolis-based venture studio High Alpha. ClearScholar was acquired in 2018, and he previously served as president and CEO of Harrison College after joining the organization as director of admissions in 1999. His other board roles include Academy of Art University (San Francisco), University of Advancing Technology (Tempe), Perceivant, Inc., and Notre Dame ACE Academies. He and his wife, Jodi, have three children (two Cathedral graduates and one current student at Cathedral) and are parishioners at Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Julie Barthel

Julie served as a Cathedral educator from 2002-2015 and served as Vice Principal at North Central from 2015-2019. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from the University of North Carolina, where she also played volleyball. She earned her Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Butler University. Her husband, Tim Barthel, has served on the Cathedral football coaching staff for 13 years. Her sons are Cathedral graduates, Connor Barthel '11 and Collin Barthel '14. Her daughter, Caiti Barthel, is a member of the Class of 2023. Julie and her family are parishioners at St. Simon the Apostle Catholic Church

Pete A. Ugo

Pete has 24 years of audit and consulting experience with Crowe LLP, a top-10 national accounting and consulting firm, and is the leader of the firm's national not-for-profit and higher education audit practice. In addition to serving on Cathedral's Board of Trustees since 2018 (and currently as Treasurer), Pete has also been involved with Junior Achievement of Central Indiana's Board of Directors and Finance/Audit Committee, St. Lawrence Catholic Church Finance Committee Chair, University of Notre Dame Accounting Advisory Board, Saint Mary's College Parent Council, and the AICPA's Not-for-Profit Expert Panel. Pete is married to Christina Knych '93 Ugo and their children are Maria '19, Monica ‘21, Mark '25 and Matthew (8th grader at St. Lawrence Catholic School). The family are members of St. Lawrence Catholic Church.

Rev. Eric Augenstein

Fr. Eric Augenstein is a priest of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis. He has served as a high school theology teacher and chaplain at Seton Catholic High School (Richmond, Indiana) and Our Lady of Providence High School (Clarksville, Indiana), as well as the Associate Pastor of St. Andrew, St. Mary, and Holy Family Churches (Richmond, Indiana), and pastor of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church (New Albany, Indiana). Since 2013, he has served in the Vocations Office for the Archdiocese of Indianapolis, currently as Director of Seminarians, and since 2019 also serves as Pastor of Nativity of Our Lord Jesus Christ Catholic Church in Indianapolis. Fr. Eric is also co-author of The Idiot's Guides: Catholicism.

Rob Bridges is the former Head of school at Muskegon Catholic Central and former teacher and coach at American School of Rio de Janeiro. He is a former Peace Corps volunteer. He and his wife Marcia have four children, three of whom are Cathedral graduates and one is a current Cathedral student. The family is a member of St. Simon Catholic Church.

Rolly Landeros was Cathedral's Chief Information Officer for 15 years before he was named Chief Operating Officer in 2019. In addition to his duties as COO, Rolly is oversaw the Innovation Center project, Brunette Park development projects, and our COVID-19 Task Force. He and his wife have two children who are Cathedral graduates, Joey ‘18 and Gabe ‘20.
