Carmel Convent Secondary School, ACC, Mancherial, established in 1972, is a Catholic Christian Institute managed by the Sisters of the Congregation of the Mother of Carmel (C.M.C). CMC is a religious and charitable association of a religious minority group within the purview of the Constitution of India. It is a co-education English Medium School that follows the educational philosophy of the Congregation of the Mother of Carmel. The school had a humble beginning in a building of Mancherial Cement Works at A.C.C., Colony, mainly to serve the A.C.C., employees. In the year 1982, the school was shifted to a magnificent building in a sprawling 9 acres campus in pollution free environment at Mancherial. Slowly and steadily, the school progressed and expanded.
