CHILDREN CREATE HISTORY

Niños Creadores de Historia provides supplemental instruction to struggling first and second graders in the small rural community of San Andrés Itzapa, Guatemala. Without this support, most of these children will not make it to the sixth grade. Guatemalan children that struggle in their beginning years of school usually don't finish primary school... The school works closely with the neighborhood public schools to identify at-risk students. Despite operating on a shoestring budget, Niños Creadores de Historia provides these young students with small group instruction with plenty of individual attention.
