CU CONSORTIUM FOR CLIMATE CHANGE AND HEALTH

We at the University of Colorado are mobilizing the breadth of talent across our four campuses to assess these health impacts, to educate both the public and policymakers, and to advance meaningful solutions to benefit the health of our communities... We are physicians, environmental scientists, biomedical researchers, and public health practitioners... Our approach includes: education of a new generation of physicians, biomedical researchers and public health practitioners on climate sensitive diseases; research to understand mechanisms of climate sensitive diseases, to track changes in climate sensitive diseases, and to develop clinical interventions to make a difference; and outreach to the communities affected by climate sensitive diseases.
