The midwifery model promotes the principle of continuity of care. Pregnant clients will be cared for by the same team of midwives throughout their pregnancy, birth, and up to six weeks postpartum. We aim to create a safe and supportive care relationship over this course of time. Your team of midwives will provide 24/7 urgent care access while your are under their care... We are committed to providing evidence-based care that is inclusive, accessible, and honours diversity. We are passionate about nurturing a community environment that supports and educates our clients as they make informed decisions for their families... We practice with the philosophy that pregnant people are the most appropriate decision makers regarding their bodies and healthcare. As such, we encourage informed choice decision making and aim to educate and support our clients in their reproductive choices. We are passionate about community, and hope to nurture relationships among Edmonton parents and caregivers.
