EMPOWER TIGRAY

Empower Tigray, a nonprofit organization, was established in February 2021 by a group of Diaspora Tegaru professionals in the United States in response to the war and genocide upon the people of Tigray that began on November 4, 2020. A charitable organization to serve Tigray through a long-term outlook by building a strong educational foundation, investing in innovation, supporting essential healthcare services, and family services through social and financial means. To provide compassionate and immediate assistance to victims of the war with basic necessities including food, clothing, housing, health care, and reunification of internally or externally displaced children with their families. To support vulnerable Tegaru children returning to school by providing students and their families the financial and material assistance they need.
