ELY PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH SCHOOL

We are a small independent Christian school in West Cardiff, South Wales. By God's grace we have provided education since we opened our doors in 1974... Looking back on our story, we trace God's grace and kindness to the school over 45 years. This history of educational success has been about much more than achieving excellent GCSE grades. Our ethos is, ultimately, God-given; we try to live as God tells us to in the Bible by loving Him and loving one another. Because we take no funding from the government, our people are part-time or full-time volunteers. Funding for resources comes from the church membership and some costs are met by parents... By God's grace, ever since these early days, we have been staffed by volunteers from our church membership. As a school we are entirely funded by the giving of the church membership, and donations from parents. We are not funded by any state contributions, either local or national.
