Dr. Dojoong Kwon - Chief Legal Officer

Dojoong Kwon is a Korean qualified legal practitioner who has a superior understanding of the complex contracting and commercial structures adopted in shipbuilding and offshore EPC contracts. Dojoong worked as DSME's In-house Counsel for 12 years where he gained extensive experience on the legal and practical aspects of EPC contracts and was heavily involved in the drafting and negotiating of shipbuilding and offshore engineering and construction agreements. Dojoong holds a LL.B. and a Doctorate in Law from Sungkyunkwan University where he specialized on the legal aspects of the offshore sector. Dojoong also holds a LL.M from London University and currently works as an attorney for Sihun Law based in Seoul, Korea.

James Markham-Hill

James is a global corporate strategy and communications professional with a deep knowledge of the LNG industry and a track record of growing companies. With a focus on strategic communications, marketing and regulatory affairs, James is adept across business disciplines, and provides key support in executing the strategic vision of the company. James has significant stakeholder management experience working with government officials, the public, and the media, among others. Most recently, James led communications and external affairs for NextDecade, supporting the development of the Rio Grande LNG project and assisting in NextDecade's successful listing on the NASDAQ.

Jee Yoon - Managing Director

Jee Yoon founded EPIK with the vision of bringing together industry experts who shared his passion in developing FSRU projects into one Korean project development company. He has been involved in the origination of multiple LNG projects including the Tamar FLNG project in Israel, Rio Grande LNG project in Texas, and the Inisfree LNG FSRU project in Ireland. He previously worked as Business Development Manager and Legal Counsel for NextDecade, and Legal Counsel for Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering's (DSME) Business Development Team. Jee is a lawyer admitted to the NSW Supreme Court in Australia.

Jonathan Cook

Job Titles:

Jon has served in executive management positions at numerous gas and LNG businesses being responsible for the development and execution of Corporate, Marketing, and Business Development strategies. He was one of the founding members of Excelerate Energy where he served as COO, and later moved on to be CMO at TMS Cardiff Gas, and CEO at Flex LNG. Throughout his career in managing gas and LNG businesses, Jon has directed the implementation of sophisticated operational and technical innovations across a broad range of LNG shipping initiatives. Jon has over 30 years' experience in the LNG, marine transportation, and energy sectors, and has a wide range of skills in strategic planning, contract negotiations, market analysis, resource management, and operations

Mr. David Kim

Mr. David Kim holds an exceptional track record in developing international energy & infrastructure projects. Mr. Kim formerly worked for Korea Electric Power Corporation and later moved on to work for AMEC and Babcock & Wilcox in North America. He held international postings with Sumitomo Corp. managing its European & MENA operations and later moved to Samsung Engineering as Chief Marketing Officer. Mr. Kim most recently was CEO for TaeKwang Power where he was responsible for the development of the Namdinh thermal power project in Vietnam with ACWA Power. He currently serves as Chairman of Korea's Professional Infrastructure Developers Association.

Mr. Kevin Kab Jae Lee

Mr. Kevin Kab Jae Lee is a distinguished advisor and investment professional with significant experience in the energy and LNG industries and brings over 30 years of experience to EPIK's advisory board. Mr. Lee spent much of his career at PWC in Korea and in the USA, where he served as Partner. Mr. Lee subsequently served as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Hyundai LNG Shipping from 2014 to 2017 and remained on as advisor to the company through 2018. Mr. Lee is a certified CPA and a member of the Korea Institute of CPA and the America Institute of CPA, and has served in a number of external advisory positions in both private and public institutions.

Mr. OK Shin

Mr. OK Shin is a distinguished expert in the shipbuilding industry with more than 30 years experience in the industry. He spent 23 years working in various positions at DSME and established its New Business Development & Strategy Team, where he managed a variety of shipbuilding-related and new business initiatives with international counterparts including the acquisition of Dewind wind power and the establishment of a shipping joint venture operation with Nigeria's NNPC. OK also successfully lead DSME's investment in Angola's Paenal shipyard, and implemented a shipyard operational services agreement with one of the world's largest ship repair yards, Oman Drydock Company.

Mr. Shaun Davison

Mr. Shaun Davison is an accomplished LNG industry professional with a proven track record of successfully originating, developing and operating LNG FSRU and liquefaction projects around the world. With over 25 years in the energy industry, Mr. Davison has extensive knowledge across the natural gas value chain related to major gas pipeline transmission systems, underground storage & natural gas liquids with Consolidated Natural Gas and Dominion Resources, where he focused on business development, marketing, corporate strategy and major M&A transactions including Dominion's purchase of the Cove Point LNG import terminal. Mr. Davison previously worked for Teekay Corporation and Excelerate Energy, where he led global project origination and development for LNG regasification opportunities including Israel, Pakistan & Bangladesh. Most recently, Mr. Davison led NextDecade's commercial project development and regulatory affairs for multiple LNG projects, including Rio Grande LNG, Galveston Bay LNG export projects in the US Gulf of Mexico, and Inisfree LNG regasification project in Cork Harbor, Ireland. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in management science and economics from West Virginia Wesleyan College and a Master of Business Administration from West Virginia University.

Mr. Wangi Ahn

Mr. Wangi Ahn is a reputable legal professional with an extensive background in civil service. He started his career in public administration with Korea's Ministry of Trade, Industry & Energy where he held significant positions in energy & industry security advisory committees. After obtaining his LLM at Harvard, Mr. Ahn worked as a foreign lawyer for Korea's largest law firm, Kim & Chang. In 2016, he was appointed Senior Executive Vice President of KOGAS and served as Acting President of KOGAS from June 2017 through to February 2018. Mr. Ahn currently serves as CEO of Gyeongnam Technopark and is an international arbitrator registered with the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board.

Mr. YY Koh

Mr. YY Koh is a well-respected figure in the heavy industry and shipbuilding industry. He formerly spent more than 30 years with DSME, having held managerial positions as Head of DSME's London branch, Executive Vice President of Corporate Strategy, and most recently as Senior Executive Vice President of DSME's Marketing Division. Mr. Koh currently serves as CEO of HSD Engine (formerly Doosan Engine), and regularly advises Korean law firm Lee & Ko on shipbuilding and maritime related affairs.
