Alice Clifford

Over nine years at Flint Culture, Alice has worked with a diverse range of clients across the arts, heritage and literary sectors, helping them to tell their stories in a compelling and meaningful way. She has provided strategic communications for major capital developments across the UK and internationally, including The Auckland Project in County Durham, The Story Museum in Oxford, Leighton House in London and H.C Andersen's House in Denmark. Drawing on her earlier career dealing rare books, Alice has worked with The Bodleian Libraries, the Antiquarian Booksellers Association, and independent publishers The Folio Society to promote their work. Alice has a passion for publicly accessible art and is proud to have led high-profile press campaigns for: PROCESSIONS, a mass participation artwork celebrating 100 years of women's suffrage which was attended by over 50,000 women; The Hatchling, a giant dragon puppet which performed at the Queen's Platinum Jubilee; and Sanctuary, a Covid-19 memorial by the artist David Best. She is a mentor for the charity Arts Emergency, which helps young people without connections forge a career in the cultural sector.

Elizabeth Flanagan

Elizabeth brings two decades of experience in arts & heritage campaigns and strategic communications. She has in-depth knowledge of both the public and commercial art sectors having led media campaigns at contemporary art institution The Whitechapel Gallery and blue-chip gallery, Haunch of Venison. She also acted as a consultant for high profile UK and European clients including Tate, Phaidon Press, Petit Palais, Fundación MAPFRE and Science Gallery London. At Flint Culture, Liz has directed high-impact campaigns across the UK, Europe and the Gulf region and overseen VIP and media events and tours. Leading the visual arts team, she worked on and with multiple national pavilions at the Venice Biennale, the ICA and commercial galleries Pippy Houldsworth and DADA Gallery. In her role leading the Saudi Arabian operation, Elizabeth is drawing on her broad knowledge of the cultural landscape of the GCC region. She directs an international and Riyadh based team to develop strategies and campaigns for Ministries, government arts projects and private initiatives, driving both local and global engagement.

Ghalia Alul

Boasting over 25 years of experience in the world of communications, Ghalia specialises in helping governments and large organisations adopt a new approach to communications through capacity building and the development of sustainable communication structures, supported by skilled resources and clear systems and processes. Her experience includes establishing and managing public affairs and communication departments for various political and non-governmental institutions including European Union development programmes in the MENA region, the Jordanian Government, the Office of Queen Rania of Jordan, and the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation in Dubai. She spent the early years of her career as a journalist for The Jordan Times. Ghalia joined Flint Culture in 2023 and is leading the capacity building practice.

Josh Dobbins

Josh is a cultural communications specialist with extensive experience in developing and executing campaigns for leading institutions, museums, and governmental organisations. He joined Flint Culture's Delhi office in 2016 and launched Flint's Mumbai office in 2017. Now based in the UK, Josh serves as Director of International Markets, overseeing the company's teams in India and Turkey while leading a team in London to deliver key projects in the MENA region. Recently, Josh led Flint Culture's work with the Royal Commission for AlUla, providing brand strategy, communications, and content development for heritage and arts campaigns. Notable projects include launching "FAME," the first-ever Andy Warhol exhibition in Saudi Arabia, and Design Space AlUla, the region's first dedicated design gallery. Through his work with the India office, Josh has advised clients including the Piramal Group, The Lady Bamford Foundation, Shapoorji Pallonji, The Poonawalla Group, and India Art Fair. Passionate about the arts' ability to drive meaningful change, Josh has also developed regional vernacular campaigns, collaborating with contemporary artists and musicians to raise awareness around issues ranging from women's health in Bihar to the conservation of Mumbai's mangroves. Before joining Flint Culture, Josh worked at Pelham Communications in London. He is a graduate of the Courtauld Institute of Art, London.

Kerr McIlwraith

Kerr McIlwraith is a creative director with over a decade of international experience in the cultural and creative industries. He has consulted for a range of Asian and Islamic galleries, organisations and institutions, with a professional remit encompassing design, production, branding, advertising and marketing. An expanding international clientele, comprises global art fairs, artists and brands. He has lived in Stockholm, Sofia and across Japan, he is currently a consulting board member for Asian Art in London.Kerr has managed productions for clients including the Royal Commission for AlUla, Ministry of Culture (KSA), Asian Art in London, Christies, Sotheby's, Kiran Nadar Museum of Art, Boghossian Jewels, Greater London Authority, SOAS University and many more.

Liz Sen - Managing Director

Having spent over two decades in senior management roles with some of the biggest consultancies in the Middle East, Liz has established a reputation as a PR, public campaigns and communications trailblazer in the MENA region. Passionate about leveraging communications for good, she has made her mark not just through her strategic communications expertise and various award-winning campaigns, but also through her groundbreaking advocacy work, particularly on advancing gender equality in the workplace. Bringing her nuanced understanding of the region's culture, Liz leads the firm's strategic initiatives, focusing on establishing the network and driving client-centric innovation. Known for her people-first approach, Liz is a passionate communicator and a results-oriented business leader who has led several award-winning assignments involving demanding mission-critical mandates, organisational change management, as well as sectoral marketing and public relations on a global level. A Gallup Certified Strengths Coach, she enables teams achieve their full potential. Beyond her corporate duties, Liz is actively involved in various advocacies that promote diversity and inclusivity.

Rebecca Taylor - CHRO

Rebecca has 25 years of professional HR experience. She has built her career by effectively balancing the needs of employees, with those of the business, for their mutual benefit. Commercially savvy, she knows how to balance business realities alongside legal frameworks. Previously, Rebecca worked for Imagination, an independent brand experience agency for twelve years. As their Head of People & Culture, she worked extensively with the London and the Middle East (Qatar, Dubai & KSA) teams, responsible for culture & employee experience, people strategy, DE&I, talent acquisition and total rewards. She was headhunted by AnalogFolk, a digital/creative agency, in October 2022. This was to help their Global CEO with a critical business transformation/strategy project and to provide Hr Director level leadership to their board. At Flint Culture, Rebecca oversees all aspects of the HR function, developing and delivering the HR and people strategy, fostering a positive & inclusive work culture, and attracting and retaining top talent. This role has a global remit and plays a critical part in driving Flint Culture's growth and success by building high-performing and engaged teams. As part of the senior leadership team, Rebecca is instrumental to shaping and enhancing Flint Culture's unique strengths-based culture, while promoting excellence and high performance.

Rosie Marsh

Rosie has over a decade of experience working with clients in both the public and private sector, including museums and cultural organisations, galleries, commercial art businesses and public bodies.She has led promotional campaigns for museums in the UK and internationally, including Manchester Museum, the Museum of the Home, the Horniman Museum in London, Hermitage Amsterdam, and OMM in Turkey. She has supported clients to build global awareness for brands such as the global architecture award, the RIBA International Prize and she was seconded to deliver communications support for a major heritage destination project in Saudi Arabia situated on a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the commercial sector, she has worked with galleries, dealerships and auction houses including The Fine Art Society, Paul Stolper Gallery, Christie's and Artcurial.

Thea has over 20 years experience working in the arts and culture sector in the UK, China and India across strategic communications, cultural strategy and stakeholder management. She ran the Flint Culture office in Asia between 2015 - 2019 leading a team between Delhi and Mumbai who worked across the cultural spectrum. Eminent clients included Kiran Nadar Museum of Art, Serendipity Arts Festival, the India Art Fair, the JCB Prize for Literature, The Gujral Foundation, Jawahar Kala Kendra, the Wellcome Collection and world renowned artists like Jitish Kallat. She has also worked with BBC Media Action and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation on a large digital empowerment project across India, as well as a strategic communications consultant for BOP Consulting, a global research and consulting practice for culture and the creative economy.
