David Jackson

David Jackson was raised in Edgewood, MD, currenting residing in San Diego, CA. He is an exceptional leader with a proven ability to accomplish detailed tasks. After receiving his bachelor's degree from Morgan State University, he remains intellectually agile with CompTIA certifications. Mr. Jackson is currently an IT specialist for the Federal Government. Mr. Jackson continuously promotes giving back to your community. He is currently volunteering at his church for the last 15 years, along with being a coach basketball for the Aberdeen Proving Ground Eagles from 2016-2021. As a Program Assistant , he pioneered the Passport to Manhood program for young men in middle school which enhanced character development. As Marketing Manager, Mr. Jackson negotiated a $300,000 contract for Net Pacific Group to provide a STEM after school program to National City District Schools. In November 2021, he became a Member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated. Since then, Mr Jackson has led many highway cleans ups on Pulaski Highway in Harford County, along with facilitating a $500 donation to his childhood Edgewood Boys and Girls Club.

Katrina Patterson

In 2007, Mrs. Katrina Dixon Patterson earned both her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work at Salisbury University and her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. Mrs. Patterson also holds a Master of Social Work degree from Salisbury University. Katrina, a native of Mitchellville, Maryland and a resident of Upper Marlboro, Maryland since 2010 is at the heart of her professional interests in connecting with people in need. In the past, Katrina has focused on her community collaboration and volunteerism through her work at the Emery Work Bed Program in Washington, DC as a Social Worker. At Emery, Katrina recruited community organizations to deliver life skill sessions to the men who were otherwise homeless and resided in the Emery men's shelter. Katrina currently works as a Service Coordinator for the District of Columbia Government, where she coordinates services for persons with developmental disabilities and works as an Affordable Behavioral Consultant in Largo. As a consultant, she conducts individual, family and group training (skill building) of each client and makes the appropriate referral for needed services. Katrina also stretches herself just a little bit more and works at Cherry Blossoms Intimates, a boutique that sells custom prostheses and lingerie for breast cancer survivors. As anyone can see, throughout all of her employment, she always has her "giving back" hat on and always tries to do more when able. Katrina is that person that no matter what the need, she is going to try and find a void filler. In addition to Katrina's professional life, she also still makes time for her numerous organizations and job roles besides "seat warmer." Katrina has always believed if you're going to be a part of an organization, then you need to do everything you can to make that organization better and step up and help and not just sit in the background, letting everyone else do the work. Katrina has been a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. since November 20, 2005, when she was initiated into the Alpha Omicron chapter at University of Maryland, Eastern Shore. She has been an active member of the sorority since her initiation and allows the spirit of Alpha Kappa Alpha to permeate in all of her work - professional, civic, and social. Besides Alpha Kappa Alpha, Katrina currently is a member of the Gethsemane Chapter of The Order of The Eastern Star Prince Hall Affiliation and the Charles Herbert Flowers High School Alumni Executive Board. She also holds the position of secretary in the Free2Rise Educational Foundation, Inc. This organization enriches the lives of young women facing adversity by preparing them through life skills, guidance, and educational enrichment. Katrina has been recognized for exceeding expectations for chapter participating in events and service activities; she was nominated and elected as Soror of the Year (2012), Chapter Participation (2012 and 2014), Outstanding Community Service (2013), Program of The Year (2013) and more recently the Shero Award (2018). Her contributions to her chapter have been recognized at the regional and national level, as the Rho Mu Omega Emerging Young Leaders (EYL) program was voted as among the best in the North Atlantic Region. She spearheaded the EYL program for her former chapter as Vice Chairman and is proud to have impacted the lives of so many young women through that program. She also serves on the Pearl Elegance Foundation which is a direct non-profit charity derived from the Psi Epsilon Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She has chaired various events and continues to serve. Katrina, no matter what day or season it is, she will always be found giving back somewhere. She has always had a passion to serve and will continue to do so as long as she lives.

Myria Carpenter

Myria Carpenter, JD is a native of Nashville, Tennessee and currently resides in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area. Ms. Carpenter received her Bachelor of Science in Human and Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University, Master of Science in Public Service Management from Cumberland University, and Doctor of Jurisprudence from The University of Tennessee, College of Law. She is a licensed attorney in Tennessee and Maryland. She completed the Diploma Fleet Seminar Program in National Security and Strategic Studies from the United States Naval War College. Ms. Carpenter is a fully warranted federal government contracting officer with over 14 years of extensive experience executing and managing the delivery of mission-critical, high-value contracts. In this role, Ms. Carpenter has received over 12 awards and is seen as trusted agent with a sharpened focus on inspiring employee efforts, maneuvering through challenges, and cultivating high-performing teams. Ms. Carpenter believes in giving back to her community. She serves on the Next Generation Leaders Board for Boys and Girls Club of Greater Washington. She has served in numerous roles for Blacks in Government such as Chair for the Regional Emerging Young Leaders Committee and the Regional Representative. She was a charter member and served as the first President of the Catalyst chapter of Blacks in Government at the United States Global Media Agency. Ms. Carpenter has served her beloved Vanderbilt as a member of the Alumni Association Board of Director, the President, Secretary, and the Nominating Chair for the Association of Vanderbilt Black Alumni. She is a Class Agent for her graduation class where she has served on the Reunion Planning committee numerous times. She has also served on Cumberland University's Alumni Association Board of Directors and President of Master of Public Service Management Alumni Association for Cumberland University. Ms. Carpenter is an effective communicator who leverages an unwavering commitment to excellence to launch, build, and lead highly effective strategies while consistently producing positive results. Shawn A. Jackson, J.D., M.Div., DTM is a native Washingtonian. She currently resides in Prince George's County, Maryland. Shawn is a recent graduate of Howard University School of Divinity where she earned a Master of Divinity. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Justice from American University and a Juris Doctor from John Marshall Law School. Ms. Jackson's legal career spans over twenty-five years. She has over twenty years of federal government experience. Currently, Shawn works at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission where she has received numerous awards. Shawn is a sought after transformational speaker and best-selling author who seeks to help women and girls shift from stress to strength, with a mission to empower women and girls to walk in their God-given purpose. She recently co-authored best-selling book "The Power of Perseverance" which highlights powerful journeys that take an in-depth look at embracing your purpose, elevating your mindset and enhancing your perseverance. Ms. Jackson is an active Life Member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She is a charter member and former president of Psi Epsilon Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., which serves the communities of Laurel, Bowie, and Greenbelt, Maryland. Shawn is also an active member of the TOP Ladies of Distinction-Prince George's County Chapter. Shawn is a faithful member of Reid Temple AME Church in Glenn Dale, Maryland where she serves on the Senior Usher Board, Women's Ministry, and Discipleship Development Ministry. She currently serves as an on-line ministry host for the Sunday morning worship services. Ms. Jackson tries to live her life addressing one of Dr. Martin Luther King's famous quotes which states: "Life's most persistent question and urgent question is, "What are you doing for others?"
