The precursor to Green Earth Trust was Mama Watiri Trust Fund (MWTF) - a Not-For-Profit Trust registered under Cap 164 of the Laws of Kenya. It was set up in honour of Mama Watiri Wa Njuguna who was a veteran of the struggle for independence in the then colonial Kenya. She played key logistical roles in supplying medicine and food to freedom fighters in her quest to help in the emancipation of Kenya from colonial rule...
