Prior to the formation of the Grodman Family Foundation, the principals have been involved in other philanthropic endeavors on their own, through collaborations or associated entities, some of which are described below... Endowment of the Grodman Dual Degree Program at the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, supporting medical students who wish to pursue degrees such as in Business, Public Health and Masters in Science (Global Health), in order to prepare for careers reflective of the changing nature and demands on the medical profession... The Grodman Family Foundation will fund innovative programs of research, education, clinical care, and program operations that provide solutions to the immense challenge of caring for children in distress.
