As an Investment Advisor Representative of Heffernan Financial Services, Andy is responsible for portfolio construction, investment management selection, analysis, and monitoring of client accounts. He has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry working with leading banks and investment companies. Andy served as the CFO of Wells Fargo's mutual fund group. At Wells Fargo, he was involved in developing the bank's proprietary mutual fund family and other investment products. Prior to Wells Fargo, Andy worked as a manager for Charles Schwab Investment Management (Schwab) and helped pioneer Schwab's first mutual fund investments. Andy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire and an M.B.A. from the University of San Francisco, and is a member of the Investment Committee for the Archdiocese of San Francisco. He resides in Marin County with his wife and their four children.

Anthony Calomeni - VP

Anthony Calomeni is a Vice President at Heffernan Financial Services. Anthony is a knowledgeable, experienced advisor who has been servicing his clients for over 20 years. He specializes in retirement income planning strategies for working professionals, retirees, and business owners and has direct responsibility for a number of the Firm's clients. Anthony focuses on providing his clients with a goals based investment plan to help them work toward achieving their long and short term investment goals. Anthony believes in ensuring his clients have a plan in place to help them save for retirement to support their lifestyle and goals. Anthony works closely with his clients to help them understand the financial markets, create a personalized investment plan based on their risk comfort zone, and recommend ongoing adjustments to the plan in response to market and lifestyle changes. During Anthony's career, he has held positions at Edward Jones, Raymond James Financial Services, National City Bank, and UnionBanc Investment Services. His academic credentials include a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Sales and Business Marketing from Western Michigan University. Blake A. Thibault

Blake joined Heffernan Financial Services in 2006 bringing with him innovative ideas, vast knowledge, and experience in the financial services industry with unmatched enthusiasm. He continues to oversee his own book of key Institutional Retirement Plans and individual clients as well as lead the overall department. As President of Heffernan Financial Services, Blake's duties include overseeing three departments in Financial Services: Executive Benefits and Life Insurance, Retail Wealth Management, and Retirement Plan Consulting, as well as strategic growth organically and through mergers and acquisitions. Since joining Heffernan, Blake has served on several advisory boards including Fidelity, J.P.Morgan, ING (now Voya), PIMCO, and T.Rowe Price. As a long-time Heffernan shareholder, he has built a reputation for being honest, forward-thinking, and client-focused. Blake is an avid skier and traveler and lives in Lafayette, Calif. with his wife, Laura, where they raised their two boys, Brooks and Carter.

Dallas Otter

Dallas Otter is the Executive Vice President of Heffernan Retirement Services' Seattle office. He has over 35 years of experience in the retirement plan consulting industry, and provides fiduciary governance guidance to investment committees, employee education, cost benchmarking, and service provider search services. Mr. Otter grew up in southern California, and headed north to Seattle to work with a retirement plan record-keeper that was developing new business. After about a year, Dallas continued his northern migration and was given the opportunity to open an Anchorage, Alaska office. After eight long Alaska winters, and developing a profitable enterprise, Dallas headed back to the Seattle office to be close to his wife's family. At that point, Dallas expanded his skillset where he provided fiduciary guidance and consulting to corporate retirement plan sponsors. Over the next 28 years, he used his combined knowledge of the retirement plan compliance and regulatory world to develop a book of retirement plan clients. Dallas is married with two children, enjoys running, golfing, paddle boarding, snowboarding, and traveling.

Elsie Criswell

She graduated in 2007 from the University of Oregon with a degree in Economics and comes to Heffernan with seven years of investment advisory business experience. John Clark

John Clark serves as a member of the Corporate Retirement Plan Committee, and has direct relationship responsibility for a number of the Firm's clients. Mr. Clark has been working in the corporate and non-profit retirement industry since his graduation from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics in 2004. He holds responsibility for benchmarking the retirement plans of our corporate clients in the areas of vendor evaluation, investment selection and monitoring, and plan design. He also conducts annual fiduciary reviews and creating educational campaigns for our corporate clients. Prior to Heffernan, Mr. Clark worked with ING Financial Advisors as a Corporate Retirement Specialist working, on the provider side, with corporations to design and implement retirement plans. Mr. Clark currently serves on BlackRock's Defined Contribution Council.

With a passion for cancer research and advocacy, Maggie is a volunteer on the Finance Committee of the Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester. Rebecca Tapia is a member of the Research Group and also serves on the Retirement Plan Committee. Ms. Tapia received her Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Cal State Hayward and received her certification of completion for the Certified Financial Planning Program from the University of California at Berkeley. Sean Kelly - VP

Sean Kelly is Financial Advisor and Vice President for Heffernan Financial Services. He represents Heffernan in Southern California working out of the Orange County and Los Angeles offices. He also services the San Diego, Inland Empire and Santa Barbara markets. Sean's specialty is group retirement plans in the private, public and nonprofit sectors. By providing comprehensive strategies for 401(k), 403(b), 457, 401(a), defined benefit and other retirement plans, Sean finds substantial worth by helping companies and organizations design and maintain a valuable retirement plan offering and benefit for their employees. Prior to joining Heffernan, Mr. Kelly was a Vice President with LPL Financial and National Retirement Partners (NRP). Sean developed a well-rounded perspective on practices for administering qualified retirement plans by recruiting and consulting with hundreds of retirement plan focused advisors for nearly a decade. At NRP and LPL, Sean was at the forefront of the retirement plan space collaborating with a large number of nationally recognized retirement plan advisors. On an annual basis Sean joins a group of specialized advisors in Washington D.C. who are committed to helping understand, advocate, and align the industry's goals with the national policymakers who matter. Mr. Kelly also attends industry conferences to stay abreast of the new and evolving methods he can use to help his clients create a better retirement plan. Steve Brandel is the Senior Vice President and Director of Heffernan's Life/Executive Benefits division, located in our Walnut Creek office. Steve joined Heffernan Insurance Brokers in 2014, bringing with him more than 24 years of industry experience. Steve specializes in providing businesses and individuals with high quality, low-cost life insurance and financial options. In addition to bringing life insurance solutions to our valued Heffernan client base, Steve, together with Operations Manager Tim Herb, also function as a BGA providing independent outside producers the support they need to write, and place new business. Steve grew up in the Bay Area and attended San Jose State University, graduating in 1985 with a degree in Communications/ Marketing. He moved to Danville in 1992 where he still resides with his wife Stephanie. They have three grown children, Rebecca, Maddie and Jake, and enjoy biking, hiking, skiing, and traveling in their free time.
