The Hotel Careni Villa Italia consists of two main bodies:the Hotel Villa Italia, a stately palace built in the 1920s and the adjacent Hotel Careni, a building of the late 60s... The Hotel Villa Italia was inaugurated in 1923 as a summer colony of a bourgeois family in Turin. In the following years it was converted into a pension first and then a hotel. The Careni family,after twenty years of experience in the tourism sector, took over its management in 1983 and then took over its ownership at the end of the 90s.
