Helping young people: ICSES is committed to improving the lives of young people who self-injure, and their peers, through improving understanding of how to safely discuss NSSI in educational and social contexts, and providing young people with the skills to support each other... ICSES is a recognized, interdisciplinary and international research group consisting of leading researchers in the field of NSSI. We are currently comprised of 19 academic staff members, 4 post-doctoral researchers, 1 clinical scientist and 5 PhD students from eight countries (Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Switzerland, New-Zealand, Sweden, and the USA).
