INLAND EMPIRE MALAYALEE ASSOCIATION

Inland Empire Malayalee Association, also known as IEMA is a registered non-profit, secular and cultural organization formed to unite malayalee communities in and around Southern California. IEMA provides a forum for its members to meet, communicate and foster a spirit of friendship and goodwill. IEMA is based in the Inland Empire and bridges all families from Southern California who have a connection to the state of Kerala, popularly known as "God's own country". Numerous social and cultural events conducted by IEMA throughout the year make it possible to uphold and propagate the rich Kerala heritage to all, especially the younger generation... The malayalee community started migrating into the Inland Empire, California in 1980. The influx increased from 1990 onwards.
