From the very beginning of family-owned Midwest Groundcovers, when Irma and Peter Orum began their budding business with a few thousand cuttings in a friend's backyard, Irma balanced home, family, and a growing company. Working side-by-side with family, friends, and valued employees, Irma helped to grow the plants that are the lifeblood of Midwest Groundcovers. Whether it was keeping track of sales and inventory or potting plants and sticking cuttings, Irma's hands were firmly in the roots of a healthy and prosperous growing operation...
