KIM STRAATEMEIER

My background is in theatre and events lighting. I studied at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in Sydney, graduating in 2010, and majored in Technical Theatre Production with an emphasis on Lighting Design and Production Management. Since NIDA I have worked both internationally and domestically on world-class festivals and events, as well as productions in London and on Broadway... I have been involved in the Architectural Lighting industry for eight years, starting my career with the design firm Firefly Point of View (FPOV) in their Melbourne studio. Due to the relatively small size of our team in Melbourne, I was fortunate enough to gain exposure and experience across a broad range of projects.
