KENDRA BORDEN

Kendra Borden is originally from Boise, ID, where she trained prior to receiving a dual BA from Columbia University in Dance and Ecology, Evolution, and Environmental Biology. She has worked with, and performed works by, Lauren Edson, Norbert de la Cruz III, Tamisha Guy, Wesley Ensminger, and Yin Yue. Additionally, she has attended training programs including Hubbard Street Dance Company and Orsolina28 in Italy as an Alexa Rose Grantee. She served on the board of Columbia Ballet Collaborative (CBC) as Development Director, and was a member of Columbia Ballet Collaborative's 2021 Choreographic Mentorship Program. Her research applies vulnerability as a tool for connection within dance, and has been shared with the Crystal Pite Foundation and Barnard Dance. She is currently a Ready Fellow with Gibney Pro.
