TSUNG-CHI LIN

I received my bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Yuan Ze University and my master's degree in biomedical engineering from National Taiwan University, Taiwan, in 2012 and 2014. My thesis focused on human movement science and bio-signal processing advised by Prof. Tung-Wu Lu. From 2014 to 2018, I was an associate researcher with Mechanical & Mechatronics Systems Research Laboratories (MMSL) in the Service Robot Department of Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), devoting myself to the development of exoskeleton robots to assist spinal cord injury patients and the elderly. Our research team started a spin-off start-up company FREE Bionics in 2017.
