MANDEE'S MISFITS

We've been involved in animal care in many facets for over 20 years. In 2021, in response to a need in our area, a gap in access to trained animals by/for mental health patients, an absence of properly represented Emotional Support Animals (ESAs) as a whole, often Brace and Mobility Service and Psychiatric Services Dogs as well, a lack of a proper understanding of ESAs and the differences between them and service animals, as well as the regulations and requirements, we incorporated Mandee's Misfits, Inc. We rescue animals and work with pets, services dogs, and their owners, who have demonstrated a capacity and temperament to be of service to a human that needs it. We provide the training to move them toward the service of their human in need... Why are we misfits?
