Gary J Martin CPA, CA has been a CPA for over 40 years. After graduating from the University of Western Ontario Ivey School of Business, Gary joined Clarkson Gordon's Kitchener office progressing from a staff account to a Senior manager. In October 1983 Gary joined the firm of Ward & Uptigrove in Listowel Ontario becoming a partner in the firm managing and advising a client group consisting of farm, agri-business, small business and personal tax clients. July 2000 was the inception of Gary J Martin Professional Corporation when Gary moved back to the Kitchener-Waterloo area and started his practice as a sole practitioner. These days Gary is an advisor to Jane and Jeremy as they manage Martin Halenda Professional Corporation.

Jane A Martin CPA, CA has been a CPA for 18 years. In addition to her professional designation also has a Masters of Accounting from the University of Waterloo. After her studies she went to work at BDO Dunwoody's Toronto North office specializing in audit of small public companies as well as small owner manager clients, progressing from junior to senior staff accountant. After BDO she worked at the corporate headquarters of Maple Leaf Foods managing the accounting function of a small independent operating company working directly with many stakeholders from the AgriFarms division to Pork and other corporate offices. In addition to the daily accounting duties she was also an integral member of the budget process, presenting directly to the CEO & CFO, as well as part of the C3 internal audit team, progressing from senior financial analyst to Manager of Financial Reporting. After taking some time off with her young children Jane is back working directly with clients again at Gary J Martin Professional Corporation and now Martin Halenda Professional Corporation.
