Mental Health for Youth Initiative (MHYI), was birthed in an academic environment, where there was an imperative need for the issues surrounding mental health to be properly discussed and addressed amongst the youths. Also, there was a clear absence of the much-needed help that should be available to every youth at the developing stage of their lives. MHYI was created to raise awareness on mental health and fill the gap in providing this professional help in a timely manner through several projects which have been carefully planned to reach the peculiar needs of every youth... Currently we are operational in Nigeria. In the near future, we look forward to expanding our services to other African countries to raise awareness on mental health and provide structured intervention services for mental health. We are open to partnerships with individuals, Civil Society Organizations, corporations and international organizations.
