We aim to visualize the dynamics of viral envelope glycoproteins during receptor engagement and membrane fusion using state-of-the-art biophysical techniques... We are a diverse group of scientists developing and applying quantitative, biophysical approaches to infectious diseases research. We are located within the Department of Microbiology and Physiological Systems at UMass Chan Medical School in Worcester, Massachusetts. We are devoted to the study of a variety of viral pathogens, with the goal of making mechanistic discoveries that would not be possible by conventional means. Scientists of all backgrounds are welcome to get in touch.
