Ally is a U.S. Army Veteran who was stationed in Germany as an All-Source Intelligence Analyst. She holds an Associates of Applied Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Lakeland Community College. She is also currently working on her Associates of Applied Business Degree in Paralegal Studies at LCC, where she is a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. She holds a Law Office Support Membership to The National Organization of Veterans Advocates. Ally has a strong passion for helping veterans and enjoys volunteering with The Subzero Mission, camping, and off-roading her Jeep in her free time.

Darlene Toman

Darlene or as we call her "Mama Dar" is the heart of our firm. As office manager, she makes sure the lights stay on and that the cases are handled properly. She went to the school of hard knocks and worked for years in Courts and law firms across the area. She loves flying planes with her husband and checking out local wineries. She also loves spending time with her kids and grandkids! Darlene is your go-to person if you haven't heard back from someone at the firm or need special attention.

Kenneth S. Kabb

Ken is of counsel with the firm and was its founder in 1984. Following a career as a mechanical and medical engineer, he earned his law degree from Cleveland Marshall Law School in 1969. Ken has been helping veterans win compensation from the VA for over 12 years and is a sustaining member of the National Organization of Veterans Advocates. Ken holds a Private Pilots License as well as a Coast Guard 100 ton Masters license and NRA firearms instructor certification. He established the North Coast Sailing School which closed after seven years so he could go off cruising. His sailing adventures included a three year voyage from Cleveland, Ohio to Venezuela and return via Bermuda, Tortola the Caribbean, Bahamas and east coast of the United States.

Rachel A. Kabb-Effron, Esq., CELA, is the owner of the Kabb Law Firm in Beachwood, Ohio specializing in Elder law. Ms. Kabb-Effron is a Certified Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation and is recognized as a specialist by the Ohio State Bar Association Specialty Board. Ms. Kabb-Effron has been representing elderly and disabled clients since 1998. She helps clients with Care Advocacy and public benefits eligibility planning involving Medicaid and the VA. She has been practicing Life Care Planning since 2006. Ms. Kabb-Effron is a past-president and current Board member of the Life Care Planning Law Firms Association. She is currently serving on the Jewish Community Housing committee of the Jewish Community Federation of Cleveland. She is a past president of the Ohio Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. Ms. Kabb-Effron has been an active member of the National Academy of Elder law attorneys and the National Elder Law Foundation, serving on numerous national committees. Ms. Kabb-Effron has served on the faculty of the Elder Care Coordinator certification program through Stockton College. Most Recently, Ms. Kabb-Effron was honored as a Top Female Entrepreneur in Cleveland by the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO). Ms. Kabb-Effron was awarded the National Academy of Elder Law Attorney's Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Ohio Chapter in 2006. Ms. Kabb-Effron was awarded the Pro Bono Award by the Young Lawyers Section of the Cleveland Bar Association. Ms. Kabb-Effron is a frequent lecturer for professional and community groups. Ms. Kabb¬Effron graduated cum laude from the Cleveland-Marshall College of law and with honors from the University of Cincinnati. Ms. Kabb-Effron has been married to her husband David since 1996, has two daughters and resides in Woodmere, Ohio. Rachel is the owner of the firm and has been since 2001. She holds a Bachelors in Political Science from the University of Cincinnati and law degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. She is a Certified Elder law attorney from the National Elder Law Foundation and the Ohio State Bar Association. She is a member of the adjunct faculty at her law school. She enjoys theatre, dancing and singing in her spare time. She has been married to her husband since 1996 and has two daughters.

Richard Weiss

While Rich is not technically part of the staff of The Kabb Law Firm, he does share space here. He holds a degree in Business Administration from The Ohio State University. Rich helps clients with funeral trusts, annuities, and Medicare supplemental insurance. He is an avid golfer and tennis player and enjoys spending time in Palm Springs, California.
