NEW JERSEY NUT FARMS

NJ Nut Farms started our first chestnut trees from seed in our nursery in 2019. We are proud to be the region's premier chestnut orchard. We use non toxic and sustainable farming practices to ensure that our crops are free from harmful chemicals. We have been field planting chestnut trees since 2020. We currently have over 2000 trees growing at our farms in Chesterfield and Medford, New Jersey. We are about 60% completed in our planting phase. In addition to chestnuts, we also grow asparagus, aronia, blueberries, comfrey, elderberries, pawpaw, and persimmon. Our dream is to grow a diverse perennial farm and reintroduce chestnuts to our region's cuisine... We started with a worn out hay field. We believed in the land and the potential of returning chestnuts to our region... We planted our first chestnuts in 2019 in what is now our certified tree nursery.
