I am 3rd generation Benician, and have a deep pride for my Bay Area community and home town. My deep, deep love with mixed nut butter began in 2016, when a diet change had me on the hunt for nutrient dense protein sources - and plain old peanut butter just wasn't cutting it. I started buying jarred nut butters from grocery stores and mixing them with different seeds at home, then re-jarring them - phew! That was a lot of work. From there I started to research nut butters, roasting methods, and nut nutrients to find the perfect combos. A few hundred taste tests later - I'd become a Nutty Momma.
