PSYCHIATRIC SERVICE DOG ASSOCIATION LIMITED (PSDA)

The Psychiatric Service Dog Association (PSDA) is a non-profit organisation based in Ireland, which is completely self-funded. Funds are based on donations, sponsorships, and membership fees. Awareness of the services provided has increased since its establishment. PSDA has supported sick, injured, and cruelly treated animals in Ireland and worldwide. It has also helped hundreds of people with mental disabilities adopt or train rescue dogs to become their lifelong assistance companions... Here at Psychiatric Assistance Dog Association we firmly believe in dogs' abilities to save lives. It is our mission to make these life-saving companions available to people on social assistance who are burdened by mental / physical and/or mental disabilities. Unfortunately, many organisations exclusively focus on providing assistance to veterans or individuals with physical disabilities, leaving many disabled people without the needed support.
