The foundation of our mission is building relationships. Through these relationships we strive to become active and influential members in our communities and in our lives. Building a relationship with yourself requires reflection, understanding, and patience. It is the same as we begin to build relationships with our communities and our local ecology. If we build these relationships without reflection, with judgement, and with haste, they will not have the strong foundation to support the meaningful and lasting work that we aim for... Cost-Consciousness refers to the impact of our usage of resources, and so much more. This of course includes material resources, but it also includes our own gifts and talents and the amazing skills of those in our network of relationships, from family, to friends, to organizations.
