SCAFFOLDING COMMUNICATIONS - Key Persons
Sarah McCagherty has been an editor, teacher, and tutor of languages and writing for the past 21 years. Most recently, she teaches ESL in the English Language Development Department at Camosun College. She has also taught academic writing and critical thinking at Royal Roads University and worked as an English and ESL tutor in the English Help Centre at Camosun College.
As an editor, Sarah has worked on a wide variety of materials, including curriculum documents, Masters degree projects, websites, blog posts, resumes, and cover letters, to name a few. Sarah specializes in fine tuning your writing to get your message across in clear, professional, error-free language.
Sarah is a member of BC TEAL. She has a BA in German with a Minor in Linguistics from the University of Victoria and an MA in Germanic Linguistics from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. She received her ESL teacher training from Camosun College and is certified with TESL Canada. Sarah lives in Victoria, British Columbia.
