To respect Apple's InfoSec policies, I am limited in the display and discussion of this work publicly and can only write about non-proprietary project and product details... The HIG is guidance for third-party iOS designers and developers; however, it is gospel when creating an iOS app for an Apple business group. I led and contributed design towards a proprietary iOS application to help Beats by Dre manage aspects of their device manufacturing... We ended with over 300 screens, complex but intuitive layers of modality to meet the dense needs of the app, exploration of augmented reality and OCR, and a lot of other cool stuff I can't really talk about. I learned a ton though. And got the chance to create a truly unique iOS app under the strictest of standards.
