Short bowel syndrome (SBS) is a serious and chronic malabsorption disorder. Learn about causes and treatment for your patients with GATTEX (teduglutide)... Of the 134 patients with SBS that were treated with GATTEX at the recommended dosage of 0.05 mg/kg/day in the clinical studies, 19 patients were 65 years or older while 5 patients were 75 years of age or older.
