Mark Frederiksen's passion for carpentry and building began after serving in the Marine Corps and continued throughout college where he earned a Master's Degree in History. "My appreciation of the past inspires and translates to how I build today because I am always seeking to create that same timeless quality in my work." Mark pursued his calling in the trades, where he was a carpenter for a home improvement company that served many high-end customers in the Hamptons. "It was then that I truly discovered my passion," Mark says. "Having cut my teeth performing custom carpentry in the Hamptons, I understand the discerning customer who has uncompromising demands and elegant taste. I get it…I don't want to compromise, either."
He was hooked on the challenge to deliver superior service and craftsmanship. Therefore, when Mark relocated to Cincinnati in 2010, he was determined to establish a general contracting firm that delivered uncompromising service and attention to detail largely unknown in the residential construction industry. TCD has delivered ever since. Mark and his wife, Brandy, live in Mason with their three young children, Lars, Anders, and Dagny. He enjoys history, traveling, and reading.
