Adam Harris B.COMM - CEO

As CEO, Adam has led the growth and development of C-Therm Technologies from start-up to its rise as a global leader in the field of non-destructive thermal instrumentation. Adam has supported clients in the pharmaceutical, petroleum, ceramics, energetics and electronics industries over the past 14 years in evaluating the adoption of thermal instrumentation for product development and improved process control. He has previously held executive roles with the Canadian Thermal Analysis Society and is a sitting member of various technical committees on ASTM related to the development of global standards for measuring thermal properties. In 2012 he was selected as one of Canada's top emerging business leaders for participation in the Governor General's Leadership Conference. He is additionally an alumni of the New Brunswick 21Inc. program. Adam graduated from the Dalhousie University School of Business Administration with a Bachelor of Commerce and has completed the Canadian Securities Course. He additionally has completed graduate courses in economic development and business at Harvard University (Summer School) and the University of New Brunswick.

Brandon Brown M.

Brandon first graduated from the Applied Sciences program at Queen's University with a degree in Computer Engineering, where he focused on low level hardware and firmware. After graduation he worked in the telephony industry, where he grew in his role from QA to performing high level product development and customer customization, codifying requirements, and working with application developers to ensure the customer received what they needed. Brandon then decided to dive back into academia, pursuing a Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering, focusing on wireless power control schemes. He then continued his studies by enrolling in the Ph.D. program in Electrical Engineering after being granted an NSERC Industrial Partnership Scholarship. During his doctoral studies Brandon joined the C-Therm team as a software developer. Brandon is now leading the engineering department while completing his Ph.D.

Jarett Nickerson

Bridging the gap between market needs and product development, Jarett (Jay) Nickerson splits his time between partner & client collaboration and product management. You can often find him deep in the laboratories of research facilities around the globe, discussing thermal characterization objectives with clients and testing industry leading materials. In guiding product development, Jay contributes to the overall vision of C-Therm by bringing forward the needs of researchers from a wide range of industries. Recognized as an emerging leader in Canada, Jay is a recent delegate of the 2017 Governor General's Canadian Leadership Conference. He holds a Business Degree from the University of New Brunswick with honours in Marketing and Economics. Jay's ongoing professional development include training in Pragmatic Marketing, Wallace McCain's 2iC leadership program, and ongoing learning in thermal analysis and characterization.

Michael Emanuel

Job Titles:

Michael Emanuel has over 20 years of experience in high technology companies, including Honeywell, ACS (Alcohol Countermeasure Systems) and SCD (Semiconductor Devices). He has extensive experience in complex systems design, product engineering, electronics hardware and firmware, application software, product testing, reliability, and quality processes. Michael is the author of many technical publications and holds several international patents, most notably in the fields of optical imaging and materials monitoring. Michael received a Master of Science in Applied Physics and a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Mathematics from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel. He also holds a diploma in Executive Development from McGill University in Montreal, Canada.
