Brandon Cox

Brandon served as CEO of Threat Management Group for 19 years prior to his retirement in 2024. He now serves as an Advisor to ensure the continued overall success of the organization. Brandon is a Member of the South Carolina State House of Representatives, his responsibilities include upholding the Oath of Office, accountable representation and ensuring that the citizens of South Carolina have a safe and prosperous environment to live and raise their families.

Brian Pavlus

Job Titles:
  • Program Manager and Tactical Diving Instructor
Brian Pavlus joined Threat Management Group in August 2023 as a Program Manager and MK-25 Tactical Dive Instructor for Specialized Diving Division. Prior to joining Threat Management Group, Mr. Pavlus served as the Accounting & Finance Manager at a company in Panama City, Florida for three years. Mr. Pavlus also served on active duty in the U.S. Marine Corps., retiring at the rank of Gunnery Sergeant (E-7) after 20 years of distinguished service. While on active duty, he served as a Reconnaissance Marine from 1997 to 2016 and received extensive training across a wide variety of specialized disciplines. Brian had the honor of serving in combat theaters, as a formal school instructor at the Marine Combatant Dive School and Special Operations Training Group, and as the Operations Chief for the Maritime Raid Force on the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) in the Pacific Region.

David A. Grantham - CEO, President

David A. Grantham, Ph.D. is a nationally renowned security professional, having served in various positions on both the federal and local level. Dr. Grantham currently serves as the CEO of Threat Management Group and previously served as the Chief of Intelligence and Technology at the Tarrant County Sheriff's Office and before that as a Special Agent with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI), deploying both to Iraq and Afghanistan in support of counterintelligence operations.

Hannah Cox - COO

Hannah Cox joined Threat Management Group in 2007. Since then, she has served TMG in several different roles, the most recent being a promotion to Director of Operations which includes overseeing the Products, Training, and Human Resources Divisions of the company.

Mike Wise - CFO

Mike Wise joined Threat Management Group in August 2012 as Chief Financial Officer. In this role, Mr. Wise is responsible for all financial activities, government contract pricing and compliance, and human resources. Prior to joining TMG, Mr. Wise served as CFO for Lifecycle Construction Services of Fredericksburg, VA; a Hub Zone certified small business performing services as a general contractor on federal construction projects in the Southeast region. Previously, Mr. Wise held key financial and operational leadership positions with A-T Solutions, a privately held defense contractor providing anti- and counter-terrorism training, services and products to government customers. From 2006 to 2010 he was responsible for all contracting and financial management activities as CFO. Mr. Wise is an experienced financial manager with extensive government contracting expertise and in depth knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) procedures, government pricing, and cost accounting policies and procedures.

Scott Hooley

Scott Hooley joined Threat Management Group in 2019 and serves as the Lead Instructor and Program Manager for the Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) training team. His team provides CBRN training to field units across the United States and its territories. Scott is a retired U. S. Coast Guard Senior Chief Boatswain's Mate with a background in small boat operations and command. He has served as the Officer in Charge of three Coast Guard boat stations. He also has extensive an extensive background in the Coast Guard training systems and unit assessments and has served at two of the Coast Guard's training centers.
