Alexia DeBono

Alexia DeBono (she/her/they) is a 26 year-old Maltese-European who grew up in Sliema and Swieqi. She works as a self-employed writer and digital marketer. Her educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in English Literature and Linguistics from the University of Goldsmiths, London. Alexia is one of the co-founders of Volt Malta, alongside Arnas. The party was officially registered on 30th April, 2021. She has played a pivotal role in the party's policy portfolio and communications, and ran as a General Election candidate in 2022, in Districts 8 and 9. She is currently serving her second term as Co-President, having been re-elected during the party's General Assembly in December 2022. Her aims for this two-year term include seeing the party through the 2024 European Parliament Elections, as well as strengthening Volt Malta's capabilities.

Arnas Lasys

Arnas Lasys (he/him) is a 27 year old Lithuanian-European who grew up in Mgarr and is currently living in Balzan. His educational background is in political science and international relations, and also has an affinity for digital marketing. He joined Volt Europa in 2018, where he volunteered in its social media team. During the 2019 European Parliament elections he was Volt Europa's co-Social Media Manager, and the party elected its first MEP while receiving 416,171 votes across seven countries. On 30th April 2021 Arnas, along with his co-founder, Alexia registered Volt Malta, and has since helped it launched three social projects, #INeedMAP, #PolitikaOnesta and #PolitikaOnesta pledge. In March 2022 he administered the party as it participated in its first General Election, where it contested with two candidates across four districts. In December 2022 he was re-elected as the party's Co-President for a two year term which will see the party through European Parliament elections

Kassandra Mallia

Kassandra Mallia (she/her) is a 26-year old Maltese-European, living in Mosta. Her main focus of education is in the field of IT, having a Higher Diploma in IT from the University of Malta, however her background is varied having touched upon History, Philosophy, Psychology and English. She is currently studying Finance and Management. She joined Volt Malta in 2021 and quickly ran and was elected to the position of Vice-President. With the run up to the 2022 general election she ran as a candidate on District 10 and 11. Kassandra was re-elected in 2022 as Vice-President and is aimed at seeing Volt Malta through the European Parliament elections for 2024.

He is Volt Malta's candidate in the European Parliament elections of 2024. Matthias' educational path is centred around his passion for politics and history, thus, he has pursued European and Classic Studies, and is a postgraduate in International Security Studies. Matthias holds a deep-seated ambition to enter politics and make a meaningful difference in his homeland. His passion for political science has transformed into an unwavering commitment to utilise his knowledge and skills for the betterment of Malta and Europe. This dedication was further cemented during his university years and his involvement with Volt Malta, which further fuelled his dedication to the field of politics. Matthias joined Volt Malta and Volt Europa in 2020, serving in various roles including Policy Lead which played a crucial role in constructing the party's manifesto for the 2022 General Election. In December 2022, he was elected as the Vice-President of Volt Malta and will help lead the party in the upcoming European Parliament elections due 2024.
