Markus Melching has more than 25 years of payments and banking experience in various management positions. His experience in projects ranges from Private and Retail Banks, BPO providers, Fintecs and payment service providers in Switzerland to global companies. His consulting focuses on the analysis of existing operations, back office and sales organizations, e.g. in the context of due diligence, as well as the subsequent implementation of performance and improvement measures. For example, he was responsible for setting up and successfully implementing a new central customer service center. In addition, he led and advised numerous M&A transactions on payment service providers and was responsible for their subsequent integration. In addition to his interdisciplinary doctorate (Finance & Psychology), he studied management at Harvard University and Artificial Intelligence machine learning at Stanford University.
Martin Steger brings more than 15 years of banking experience in various management positions. When advising numerous financial services companies, his focus is on the implementation of digitization, regulatory projects and the transformation of private fiancial services business models. For example, he was responsible for setting up and successfully managing a new private banking unit at a Swiss private bank. He also led and advised on numerous M&A transactions with private banks and asset managers and was responsible for their subsequent integration. In addition to his engineering degree, he successfully completed his MBA studies at Oxford University.

As Managing Director of 22nd austria, Sebastian Fischer is responsible for both the Austrian and German markets. He has over 20 years of experience in banking consulting, including more than 10 years as Director and Senior Manager at KPMG in Austria and Switzerland. Here he primarily accompanied transformation projects in retail, corporate and private banking as well as numerous digitization agendas, especially in the regional banking sector. The change processes in the sales, operating and control processes of banks driven by digitization are also the focus of 22nd's activities. Sebastian Fischer holds a degree in business administration (FH), a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and a banker certificate (IHK).

Sebastian Wieser specialises in data analytics and intelligent process digitalisation & automation. His experience includes projects focusing on the implementation of digital solutions for financial service providers in Austria, Switzerland, Germany and the Netherlands. He also focuses on the conceptual design and implementation of intelligent solutions at 22nd. In addition to a degree in Applied Economics from the University of Innsbruck, Sebastian Wieser holds a Master's degree in Econometrics from the University of Amsterdam.

Volker Rosenkranz has many years of experience in banking consulting and IT systems. He focuses on the development of IT strategies and data architectures. While consulting on numerous banking projects, he brings experience in the development of IT architectures, the design of business and logical data models, the derivation of business requirements into technical data models and technical data integration. For example, he was project manager for embedding the monthly financial data (securities, derivatives and cash accounts) of an asset management company into the bank's data warehouse. The focus was on reducing risk-weighted assets by implementing a look-through approach. He completed his Bachelor and Master studies at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration.
