This led to Azizi becoming a program manager of an educational nonprofit in Oakland, Ca focusing on struggling middle schoolers and eventually her heading back to school to earn her Master's in Public Administration from Ashford University. Azizi is excited to join the EOS team and continue the work of advocating for our students, she states, "I see it as I've graduated along with my middle schoolers, and now we are working to open doors for them in high schools!", this work continues to be personal for her. Hilary Brown

Job Titles:
  • Human Resources Generalist
  • Human Resource Generalist
  • Partnership Director Hilary Brown
I grew up outside of Chicago and began my migration west in college. I graduated from the University of Denver with a degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management, but I quickly realized that working towards a mission was a higher priority. I began working as an assistant for a non-profit that provides services to developmentally disabled adults in Colorado, where I met some of my closest friends, and subsequently, my soon to be husband. Life took me to San Francisco for a bit, then back to Denver, where I began my HR career at a solar company. I was at that company for 6 years, and I witnessed it grow from 1,500 to 13,000 employees. For the last few years of my time there, I worked on a small team to develop and implement the Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging programming across the company. I am working towards my master's in Organizational Development from Regis University, and I recently received my SPHR certification. I'm joining EOS excited about the work this organization does to invest in the next generation. Education is the backbone of progress, and EOS is bridging the gap to provide rigorous academic opportunities to the next generation of leaders. It is my goal to positively contribute to the employee experience here, so that EOS can thrive and continue to provide and grow its services and programs. I moved to Seattle in December 2020 with my partner and our two dogs. In my free time I like to hike, ski, do crossword puzzles, and spend time with my family and food.

Being able to help schools access data to improve student access and equity in these courses is what drives her to get up in the morning. She gets immense joy knowing EOS' data is used to highlight student voice and create action in our partner schools.
