Chirag Upreti

Dr. Upreti is a Research Associate in the Department of Neuroscience at Columbia University Medical Center, where he conducts ongoing research on the cellular and molecular mechanisms of attention, learning, and memory processes. He has been conducting research in the field of neuroscience for more than a decade specializing in the field of neuroplasticity (the brain's ability to adjust the changes in environment due to injury or disease. His research has been presented in international conferences, and has been published in prestigious medical and science journals. As Director of Research, Dr. Upreti's goal at HODS is to create, support, and conduct research in the areas of electrophysiological, neuromusculoskeletal ultrasound imaging, and vestibular testing technologies. His goal is also to provide evidence of the proper application and utilization of these technologies in the field of diagnostics.

Dr. Brian A. Lee

Dr. Brian A. Lee is the founder and president of Activ8 Diagnostics.He is a Licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy who specializes in Clinical Electrophysiologic Studies, including Electromyography (EMG), Nerve Conduction Velocity Studies (NCV), and Neuromusculoskeletal Ultrasound (NMSK). Dr. Lee received his Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from the University of Southern California (USC) in 2016, and his Bachelor of Arts in Bio logy and Psychology from the University of California Berkeley in 2013. He has had extensive experience primarily working in private outpatient orthopedic and sports clinics, including USC's athletic department, specializing in treating neuromusculoskeletal conditions. Dr. Lee is also an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS), certified by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) since 2019. Dr. Lee is currently a partner of Hands-on-Diagnostics (HODS), who specializes in training physical therapists in Neuromusculoskeletal Diagnostic Testing. He is currently finishing up his residency through the American Academy of Clinical Electrodiagnosis (AACE) and his fellowship in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound through the American Academy of Musculoskeletal Ultrasound (AAMU).

Dr. Dimitrios Kostopoulos

Dr. Dimitrios Kostopoulos, DPT, MD, PhD, DSc, ECS, is board certified in clinical electrophysiology with over 35 years of clinical experience. He is the co-founder of Hands-On Companies and a Clinical Affiliate Assistant Professor for Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University. He is a past member of SACE (Specialization Academy of Content Experts) for the ABPTS examination board on electrophysiology, and a past elected member of the Executive Committee of the Academy of Clinical Electrophysiology of APTA. He is the editor of the Diagnostic Section of the Journal of Bodywork and Movement Therapies, and the author or co-author of numerous books, articles, and research papers related to his fields of expertise.

Dr. Emily Vandervort

Dr. Emily Vandervort is a Board certified clinical Electrodiagnostic Specialist by ABPTS. Emily was born and raised in San Diego, CA. She earned her bachelor of science in biology at the University of California, San Diego. She received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Columbia University in New York City. She joined the Hands-On team in September of 2020, where she began her studies in the use of Clinical Electrodiagnostics and Musculoskeletal Ultrasound to evaluate potential neuro musculoskeletal conditions affecting her patients. Dr. Vandervort is currently preparing for her board certification exam in Clinical Electrophysiology. It is her strong belief backed by peer reviewed scientific evidence that the utilization of electro diagnostics and musculoskeletal ultrasound are key tools for optimal patient management.

Dr. Mohini Rawat

Dr. Mohini Rawat is co-founder and president of American Academy of Musculoskeletal Ultrasound. She is Fellowship director of Musculoskeletal Ultrasound program at Hands-On Diagnostics. She is board certified in Clinical Electrophysiology and Orthopaedics by American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties and in Musculoskeletal Sonography by Alliance for Physician Certification and Advancement. She received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from MGH institute of Health Professions in Boston and her Masters in Biokinesiology from the University of Southern California. She is faculty for courses in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound and clinical electrophysiology in PT program and other continuing education courses. She has mentored hundreds of clinicians and has reviewed thousands of ultrasound studies. Dr. Rawat is a contributing author and wrote chapters on imaging in books. She has published articles and presented numerous musculoskeletal ultrasound courses, webinars and lectures in multiple professional conferences and organizations including the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine and American Academy of Orthopaedics Surgeons annual meeting. She is the chair of the Academy of Clinical Electrophysiology and Wound Management Neuromusculoskeletal Ultrasound Special Interest Group and holds other elected positions in American Physical Therapy Association. She is editor of a textbook in musculoskeletal ultrasound.

Intazam Khan

Jeanine R. McLellan

Jeanine serves as the Vice President of Clinical Education for Hands-On Diagnostics. She brings a unique perspective as she is one of the original HODS members and assists on the Business Advisory Board for this group as well. She is passionate about elevating the physical therapy profession and enabling practitioners to accurately diagnose their patients and provide treatment that will ensure an optimal outcome.

Jennifer Hauskey

Dr. Hauskey is a Physical Therapist and is Board Certified in Clinical Electrophysiology. Dr. Hauskey has seen or treated nearly every type of physical therapy needed, ranging from neuromuscular complications to vestibular disorder to orthopedic injuries.

Korry Wheeler

Dr. Wheeler currently works full time as the inpatient therapy coordinator in a small critical access hospital in Afton, Wyoming. He also performs electrophysiologic testing at clinics in Afton and Kemmerer, Wyoming. He became board certified in clinical electrophysiology in 2022.

Kostas Rizopoulos

Dr. Rizopoulos, PT, DPT, RMSK, APCA, is board certified in Musculoskeletal Sonography. He has over 35 years of clinical experience and also holds a doctoral degree with a focus on business administration, marketing, PR, and management. He co-founded and successfully established and managed the Hands-On Companies, a consortium of companies in the areas of Physical Therapy, Diagnostic Testing, and Education. During his extensive experience in diagnostic testing and manual therapy, Dr. Rizopoulos has treated more than 150,000 patients over the last 35 years, and performed thousands of ultrasound diagnostic tests. He has also co-authored several books with Dr. Kostopoulos, and numerous articles for professional journals.

Rick McKibben

Dr. McKibben is a physical therapist and clinical electrophysiologist. He received his DSc in clinical electrophysiology from Rocky Mountain University, and his MS in physical therapy from North Georgia College. He is board certified in clinical electrophysiology by ABPTS. He has completed thousands of electrophysiologic studies, and has logged thousands of hours in peer review and administration for electrophysiologic testing laboratories. Dr. McKibben serves as the chair for the APTA clinical electrophysiology practice group, and helped to establish the accreditation program for PTs.

Scott McCauley

Scott received his BS in Sport Medicine at Colorado State University and from there had attended the University of Southern California. While there Scott was elected to the Student Assembly and became Chairman of the Nominating Committee. He also became the 1 st student to complete a Government Affairs clinical rotation at the APTA. That experience inspired Scott to work on Capitol Hill as a physical therapist. After 3 years of working in Washington, DC he moved back to Los Angeles and worked within the out patient therapy clinic of HealthCare Partners in Torrance, California. This HMO system became the avenue to allow Scott to complete the accredited Electrophysiologic Residency through the American Academy of Clinical Electrodiagnosis, (AACE) which had just started in Los Angeles. Scott graduated from the residency in 2013 and received his ECS in 2014. Scott was able to continue conducting electromyographies (EMG(s)) for HealthCare Partners Neurology Department once a week. It was shortly thereafter that Scott became faculty for AACE and started teaching and mentoring professionals on clinical EMGs. In 2016, Scott transitioned to performing EMGs exclusively full time in the Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) metroplex. Throughout his career Scott has had the pleasure of teaching PT students, PTs and other health professionals about clinical electromyography and has seen several of his student blossom and grow in the field as well. Scott continues to teach as Senior Faculty within AACE and is performing EMGs in the DFW area.
