After suffering a severe spinal nerve injury in 2016 Brent's entire life focus changed, recovery and rehabilitation teaches you about the body and the struggles many people face everyday and how overcoming them can be an incredible boost to one's physical and mental health.
Today Brents life is active and full of positive energy he is a partner in Active Energy Laser & also a partner in a chain of Supplement Health stores continuing his commitment to seeing others succeed in their health, wellness and body positive journey, he always says "sharing stories with people can be as therapeutic as the treatments he provides".
Colleen is a nurse practitioner who obtained her master's in nursing in 2017. Prior to, she worked as a registered nurse in a variety of settings including rural, palliative, primary care, and aesthetics. She has a passion to learn and is always willing to educate herself on the latest and greatest.
In our clinic, she oversees the bio-identical hormone replacement (BHRT) clients. She has treated hundreds of clients with hormone imbalances, especially in men, and loves to see the positive changes that they encounter. Colleen thoroughly enjoys working together with her clients and the team at Active Energy to ensure the most optimal results are achieved.
As a partner in Active Energy, co-owner of Meek Blend Medical Aesthetics, and co-founder of EmpowerMed, Colleen keeps busy with all the hustle and bustle. On top of her career, she is a proud parent of two young boys with her husband Scott. Although the days are busy, there is always time for a quick game of floor hockey with the kids!
Cortney graduated from the University Of Saskatchewan in 2008 obtaining her BScN and began her career in nursing. She has worked in a variety of practice settings which have provided her with a very well rounded medical skill set. Completing her aesthetics training has been a pivotal step in her career where she can now focus on her patients at the hospital level as well as helping her aesthetic clients by putting her training and experience to work at Active Energy to help each one of her clients look and feel their best.
Cortney is very active in the community, volunteering to help coach kids beginner soccer and when she can find the time she loves squeezing in a quick round of golf, being a full time mom of 3 with a busy career means the days on the golf course may not be as frequent as they once were but she takes it all in stride.
Dr Jodi Bibby is a Family Physician and self-proclaimed "skin nut". She completed her aesthetics training at Aesthetise in Calgary in 2015 and has been injecting in Saskatoon since then. She loves to partner with clients in planning and achieving their beauty goals while keeping a natural aesthetic to enable your true self to shine - remembering that there is more to beauty than just skin.
She is also a full-time mom to 2 wonderful, active little girls who - together with their dad - help to keep her heart happy. She loves to travel, read and dance while listening to old school hip-hop (amongst other genres).

Lauren graduated from the University of Regina in 2018 with a bachelors of science in nursing. She began working maternal care and now works in the NICU where her passion thrives. In looking for more opportunity and variety in her career, she began working at Active Energy Laser & Med Spa primarily running IV infusions in hopes to one day complete the training for aesthetic injections, including Botox and Fillers. Lauren takes pride in her work and enjoys both in hospital and out of hospital nursing.
Outside of nursing Lauren enjoys spending time with her dog Piper and her husband Travis, getting outside, going golfing, playing volleyball, watching live music, and travelling.

A CLT (certified laser technician) educated at Alberta Dermasurgery, Shelagh brings a wealth of medical knowledge with her to the clinic.
Shelagh started her Medical EMS career with Humboldt Ambulance in 1990, followed by a 20-year career as an Advanced Care Paramedic with MD Ambulance Care Ltd. in Saskatoon. She lives her life with a focus on being healthy and active, the outdoors is where her heart is. Shelagh always puts others first and has a strong desire to help her clients achieve their goals in a healthy, fun and safe manner.
