About 10 years ago, I felt it would be fun to work with wood and turning it on a lathe intrigued me. The resulting lathe purchase and collecting of wood from local trees that had fallen or been cut down, started me on a creative path. The wood was far too beautiful to use as firewood or fill a landfill. So, my wood turning interest turned into a reality...
Friends gave me logs from newly cut trees on their property, and I found many different types of trees that people had taken down during landscaping work on their property.
