From humble beginnings in 1992 Applegreen started with the opening of our first service station in Ballyfermont West Dublin. From there, Applegreen has expanded to over 500 service station across Ireland, America and the UK. In the UK we continue to add to our existing network year on year. More recently we acquired the majority stake in the Welcome Break services group to increase our presence on the UK motorway network... Applegreen launched their in house fuel card in 2017 to offer businesses local to Applegreen service stations a competitive and transparent business fuel card without the need of going through a third party fuel card provider. Now with the addition of Welcome Break and a partnership with major supermarkets, Applegreen can offer a one card solution for car, LGV and HGV businesses travelling nationally. The cards are fully managed in house, therefore we have complete control of our price and service without the need to charge additional fees.
